This is the third time I have used them in the past 5 years. Most recently, they fixed my 20 year old laundry dryer for $ 200. I called yesterday and made an appointment for today. The tech arrived on time(and called 30 minutes prior to confirm), inspected the dryer, found the problem, explained it to me and had the part in his truck. My dryer now runs great and I could not be happier with the experience. They had repaired my old dishwasher in the past. I am in Long Beach and call a local number, but the invoice is from Granada Hills. I get the impression that the people I am dealing with are local, so if you are in the valley or something, you may be dealing with completely different people who simply use the same umbrella company/888 number.

Do not use this service. They are uncooperative in mistakes their company makes. A technician named Tom came to fix my Magic Chef refrigerator. I was charged $ 200 when the amount that I agreed to on my invoice says $ 160. I also bought the Unilocal deal of $ 20 for $ 40. When I called to inform them of the mischarge, the man that answered the phone argued with me for ten minutes and refused to send me the information or invoice that they had regarding my service. He told me to email my invoice and then they would send theirs, which I promptly did and returned the call to finish the deal. He again refused to send me any of their information with no explanation as to why. The customer service this man had was appalling. Why am I being treated badly when your company took my hard earned money? I asked for them to contact me once they reviewed everything to assure my the money would be put back into my account. I was hung up on with no apology. I’d like to say Tom, my technician, was very nice, fast, and efficient and negotiated a price with me. I’m sorry that the customer service is just so, so horrible.

Do not use these guys. Our repairman did an estimate of $ 400 to repair our Kenmore front load washer Model 417. We almost paid him the $ 70 he said was due for the service call(note that someone else was quoted 35 by SLA Inc., a more reasonable figure) and told him to be on his way, but we really needed to get it fixed. He said the part was $ 200, so we talked him down to $ 300 total. Later we looked up the part online: it was $ 57. We asked to keep the used part, but the service guy said he had to show it to his boss and could not leave it. Now, a little more than 3 months later, we have the same failure. We called the company, were very polite and asked them to come back to take care of it. We were told indignantly and not very politely that the warranty was 30 days on parts and 60 days on labor.
