Robertson Art Space

RAS is AMAZING!!! My daughters had a huge double birthday party there and every parent was raving about the space! They have both indoor and outdoor space, so kids can do art or music inside — or they can run around outside with hula hoops/​balls or use the bouncy castle. Camp is just as great! My kids went this morning and BEGGED to go back for a full day tomorrow. When I walked in they were playing with the instruments on stage, having spent the morning doing mixed media artwork (clay, paint, colored pencils) — and taking a break in the bouncy castle. Furthermore, the owners (Ilan & Sarah) and staff are all incredible. I highly recommend RAS.

This is an uncommon resource for kids in Los Angeles!
I had the privilege of attending an event here. The amount of effort the instructors put in delivering quality art education was apparent; the resources here are great and the quality of instruction was top tier. What couldn’t be measured was the joy these children were exuding. Their cups were spillething over all over the place (and when their cups of paint spillethed over, the parents seemed overjoyed that it wasn’t on their carpet!)
What I really loved was the play area outside. There are so many options for kids out there to take classes, but very few places encourage kids to really be kids and socialize in a natural way in a city like this. The outdoor area is beautiful and elegant enough for parents to enjoy, but spacious enough for kids to have room to play. There’s even a bounce house!
If you’re looking for a birthday party, art class, or day camp, this place is great. I think they offer other services too and even classes for adults, but I have yet to experience those. I personally like the space enough to consider booking a party there for me and my grownup friends (and perhaps my furbaby.)

This place is awesome! The staff is super nice, friendly and attentive. My two year old had an amazing time and was exposed to a variety of different art mediums and also played with a hula hoop and in the bounce castle. She didn’t want to leave! We will definitely be back. Thanks for a great experience!

What a great facility and staff! We had a birthday party for our 6 year old son and every child and parent enjoyed it so much. All I heard what a great place we chose. I especially like that they have an indoor and outdoor space. We set up a blow up bouncer outside. We also highly recommend Robertson Art Space to other parents!

I can’t speak highly enough about RAS and their staff. We held my daughter’s 5^th birthday party at RAS recently and it was a HUGE hit with the kids as well as the parents. The staff knew exactly how to keep the kids entertained throughout the party and were even super helpful during set up and clean up. Highly recommend RAS for any event!

Robertson Art Space is a magical place where the instructors are idealistic, believing as they do that a «space» is needed for artists of all kinds to share their talents both with the less initiated and with experienced artists of other genres. Painting, movement, music. Children from toddlers to old-​age are welcome. It is fun, experimental, not judgmental, and inspiring.
Also good for art parties of all kinds.

The few classes I took here were great for my two year old daughter. Hana, the art teacher is so good with kids and so attentive.
Aside from the classes, we decided to take the plunge and have our daughters 2^nd birthday here after seeing the place only once! and it was the best decision! The space is beautiful. the kids did painting and music indoors. They ate food and played in the outdoor area. Everybody loved the space, adults and children. The next morning, I got calls from all my friends telling me how nice all the staff were to their kids and how relaxing it was for a kids birthday. The staff really managed the party well and made it the best! I would definitely consider having other events here and doing more classes!

I just went to an introductory painting class here — great space and super helpful staff, looks like they’re planning to offer a ton of different classes in different media (including music!); so great to have somewhere like this in the neighborhood.
