Dr. Wylie is fantastic! I was VERY nervous when my dentist referred me to him, but his demeanor and «chairside manner» helped me relax and not feel too worried about my situation.
He is very knowledgeable and experienced, and took the time to explain everything thoroughly and answer my many questions. He put together a plan of action for me and, by the time I left my initial consultation, I was feeling very optimistic about everything.
Though my situation required periodontic surgery, Dr. Wylie and his staff were consummate professionals and did everything possible to put me at ease (the gas did the rest!). It was over quickly and with only minimal discomfort, and everything healed quickly and without problems.
I could go back to my dentist for cleanings, but I prefer to go to Dr. Wylie because I trust him and his staff more when it comes to my teeth and gums. I couldn’t recommend them enough.

Very experienced periodontist and very straightforward. Staff was very experienced in helping me out with insurance too. They call me up the day before to remind me of my appt too which is always appreciated. Street parking is easy to find near the office. Finally, never have had to wait for appointments as they have luckily always been on time.
As to other postings here, when they have referred me out, always to very high caliber dentists who explained to me that perio work needs to be done before other procedures often get done as perio work is integral to getting under control before other procedures. And I like that they want me to come in to get my teeth cleaned every 3 months, it’s saved me from bigger procedures by being proactive to any issues with my gums ahead of time.

If you have been referred to this periodontist be sure to get a second opinion by another dentist whom you respect before submitting to anything this individual wants to do to you. I found him to be dishonest. After using up all of my dental insurance for the year for the teeth scaling, he expected me to believe that I needed oral surgery!
Then he wanted me to come in every three months to get my teeth cleaned! That is when I told him I wanted to get a second opinion. He grudgingly gave me my dental ex-​rays and claimed that the dentist I was going to see had been his «student.» Not so, said the dentist I went to for the second opinion. He was only a staff member along side her! Be careful of this one.
