Due to irregular growth, my jaws were receded to the point where my airway was constricted, which made it very difficult to breath through my nose. Consequently, chronic mouth-​breathing caused me to develop an open bite – a condition where only the molars make contact with each other and the front teeth cannot meet.
Two months ago, Dr. Relle performed double jaw surgery to advance my maxilla/​mandible and close my open bite. Thanks to him and his team, the experience could not have been better. The improvement in my breathing is spectacular – even my sense of smell is enhanced. I can also eat and speak with ease for the first time in my life. I just had a consultation with Dr. Relle and he is a very impressive and knowledgable oral and maxillofacial surgeon. He spent nearly two hours with me going through various exams and imaging sessions and analyzed my conditions to provide the best possible solution. He put so much effort and care into the determination one would think he was crafting his master thesis.
