Excellent! We in South LA have been waiting for decent coffee and delicious baked goods for a long, sleepy, hungry time and Armando Vargas has answered our prayers.
I had a delicious flaky, «buttery» chocolate croissant and a kickass cup o Joe for $ 4.50. Right next to the Expo line of the Metro, there’s plenty of free parking and the place is clean as a whistle.
I’ve been buying gas at this station for years, being able to get great baked goods and Joe are icing on the Vegan cupcake! Whoot! Whoot!
(he’ll start accepting credit cards next week, so I checked, «yes» in the additional tips section, forgive me)

Closed? Had a big «grand opening» sign up outside, but it wasn’t open, had no hours posted, and the odd stacking of appliances/​racks/​chairs we could see through the window made it look like they had gone under.
