I visited it during Ha Jung Woo’ solo exhibition. It has a very good location, in downtown Los Angeles. Really easy to find. Actually, I just lived in a hotel three blocks away, near the Grammy museum and Nokia theater. The place is quite small. On the day of the opening reception, there were over 100 people in the room! So compact!(I guess that because the artist is a movie star) however, the atmosphere is really good. The staff are so nice, especially the girl with purple hair. She is so sweet! A good place to show East Asia culture.

Umm, no thanks. The minute you walk in, you’re already done. Is this really a «gallery» as the word is intended to be used? I feel like this was worse than an elementary art show put together by the third grade class. Sorry, I know art. I like art. I’ve been to many galleries. This just isn’t worth my time even if they paid me.

Interesting gallery. Nice atmosphere. Of course, people have a different view on contemporary art, but you definatley should go to see and have your own opinion about Pyo Art!

PYO Gallery is a fun and fresh, newly opened contemporary art gallery in Downtown Los Angeles. The gallery’s small size provides an intimate experience for visitors and art enthusiasts. I visited today and they were in the process installing a new exhibit scheduled to open on October 23 involving a creative fusion of art and indie rock music. I was told that PYO gallery is a new branch of 4 different galleries located in Korea and China. This gallery is a must see for unique Asian art and artists!

PYO Gallery LA is a wonderful contemporary art gallery located in Downtown Los Angeles. This gallery’s modern art collection is outstanding, unique, and visually stimulating. Make sure to go to their great exhibitions every month(wine, food, music). Visit them during the LA Artwalk days.
