After a year in Pacific Palisades, the girls have moved back to Brentwood and were lucky enough to find a space just two doors west of their original location — new address 13028 San Vicente Blvd, Los Angeles, CA90049

I love this store and the sisters who run it. Everything is top quality and personalized. I first met them at least a dozen years ago when they made a wonderful cake for my then teenaged daughter’s birthday. They put those red waxed lips all over it and she loved it. Also, Joan(one of the sibs) dropped it off saying«it is on the way home.» Since then I have been in for snacks and gifts. Wonderful stuffed animals and kid books, stationary etc. Very high quality and classy and friendly. FYI they have moved a couple doors down from the address posted on Unilocal, but same location, just a few feet away.

BEWARE!!! They make promises that they can’t/won’t keep. I made the fatal mistake of ordering my wedding invitations through them. I chose them because it was a good price, but mainly because they promised to have my invites printed They never gave me a specific date, but always gave me a 2 – 3 day time period. They were very reassuring about«soon», when I started panicking because everything took so long. SIXWEEKSLATER(!!!), the invites finally came in, and THEYMESSEDUPTHERETURNADDRESS on our RSVP’s. When we got the final batch, we found an UNFORGIVABLE mistake. They spelled my FIANCE’S LASTNAMEWRONG!!! They are totally incompetent!!! Going ANYWHERE else and paying more is a MUCH better alternative. I wish I had checked their reviews before entrusting them with such an important service. Thumbs DOWN!!!

This place should be titled«Pulp and Hide Your Prices» So, my mother-in-law and I went in here with around a $ 500 budget. We thought that this would get us some nice wedding invitations. The women showed us expensive ones first, putting the bill at a minimum $ 1000. We told her our budget, and then she brought out the«cheapie» book. The customer service just declined from here. We found some invites that we liked a lot in this book. She said it would be around $ 500. She kept being vague about the price(which should have been a huge REDFLAG!). We went through other features, what have you, and made our choices. We had a few other questions a couple days later, and despite many calls, no calls back. Finally, she called us when the proof was ready. We loved them and ordered them. Still vague about the price. .. roughly $ 500? Right? We came back to pick the invites up, and mysteriously, she brought the bill up to $ 1500. All these little perks, like, do you need your ribbons tied(which she never said cost money) to do you want a proof(like a $ 150 service, I guess). We were shocked. The invites are nice-ish, but we have totally been ripped off. If you want a scam artist, and some pathetic customer service, here it is folks. UPDATE: Two days later, we discovered that she had given 60 of our RSVP envelops to another customer by mistake. Currently, my invites are waiting for this little error to get worked out. ..

«Candy Alley» is where it’s at. Recommended for ages 5 – 12. Good selection if I remember correctly, nice ladies working the place. Packaged and loose candy. $ 5 should cover a whole lot.
