Stopped by Muddy Paw coffee and stumbled upon Hank’s wonderful store in the back. Hank is super friendly and his love for all things plant really shines through whenever he speaks. After killing not one but two cacti, I remain an eternally hopeful, although slightly demoralized, plant lover. Hank recommended a couple of plants from his «black thumb» collection and a dieffenbachia that was too pretty (and unique-​looking) to pass up. Really affordable plants, all of the potted plants I looked at were under $ 20. Hank gave me some helpful and thorough tips about keeping my plant happy. A safe space for people and plants alike. Can’t recommend this store enough!

What can I add to the other glowing reviews? Hank is a treasure and the shop is a phenomenal little addition to the neighborhood. The store can be a bit intimidating at first glance — shelves of gorgeous but unlabeled flowers and plants — but worry not. Tell Hank a rough budget and a little something about the occasion or your preferences and in a flash he’ll have assembled a fabulous selection or bouquet far more complex and interesting than you’ll find elsewhere at a more-​than reasonable price. Just perfect.

A fun and quirky plant shop, the Plant Provocateur lives up to its name in that it offers unique living and cut options in edgy and minimal yet interesting options. I picked up an unusual air plant and the owner was extremely knowledgable and patient with my many questions. He even had a book that he was able to reference with helpful images. Prices are reasonable, and my plant was also perfectly packed for the ride home. A truly provocative experience!

Completely Luscious, Unique, Exotic Arrangements and plants. Beautiful Settings and the owner Hank is a doll. Hidden Gem, WELL worth checking out. Great for Gift Giving too.

The owner, Hank, is a floral genius.
Unique arrangements with equally unique flowers. Walking in to the Plant Provocateur is like walking in to a meditative zen forest with colors and fragrance that seem to calm even the most anxious person… like myself.
Check out some of his workshops, like flower arrangement and wood carving.
I really believe that Hank… is the Plant Whisperer.

Love Plant Provocateur! Found in the back part of Muddy Paw, it offers very unique plants at really great prices! The owner Hank is wonderful and very knowledgeable and helpful. Don’t be shy and pop your head in!
