Peaches catered our wedding and it was one of the best parts of the event! I’m still amazed it worked out so well. We had wanted a food truck instead of traditional caterer, because well, food truck food is just better. But surprisingly, Diana and Peaches crew were very flexible, and let us pick the dishes that would work for the event, including four different pass-around appetizers(loved the mini grilled cheese with tomato soup shooters!), and a 3×3 menu of main dishes and sides, including brisket, sirloin, and this amazing salmon dish. They prepared everything in very nice platters and I had hired staff to just bring dishes to the tables for a family-style dinner, so no waiting in line for a plate. Was perfect! Even better when guests would come by several weeks after saying, «yeah, and the food was so good!»

Delicious southern food guaranteed to fill and clog your arteries with each bite! Had the country fried steak sandwich and waffle fries which I highly recommend. Topped with a delicious sweet aioli, I also was able to add the pimento cheese for $ 1 blended with Colby jack and cheddar, yummm! I did happen to go to the food truck which was posted at the Angel City Brewery. My only complaint was that the food took too long and I was waiting for about 15 – 20 min for my sandwich, but it was well worth it.

Pulled pork was a bit fatty but ok. the Brisket we got was 100% inedible nearly all fat, poor color. won’t be going back. Shame for over $ 10 a la carte.

Just had the Chicken Sandwich from Peaches’ and have to say. It’s the best Chicken Sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. «queue Kanye’s Famous track»

Best beef brisket sandwich ever! It melted in my mouth and the flavors are phenomenal. Can’t wait to try other items from the sandwich menu. I also had the kale salad it was good but a bit over dressed for me.

Okay so to be fair, I can only speak to their waffles fries, but damn, those are some really spot on waffle fries. Super crispy and right amount of salty. Price is a bit steep doe for fries, but gets the job done.

So, I was at a wedding on 3÷18÷16 where Diana, Maggie, and a few other of Diana’s team work and let me say, the food was bomb, and their level of customer service was on point. I work in the catering industry, and Di’s team killed it. I never saw them just sitting around waiting to help people, they took rains and kept moving the whole wedding. I’ve seen a lot of events in my 10 years and caterers just drop the ball, all the time but when Di’s team walked into the venue, I knew they were about their business. I would definitely recommend Diana’s team. We will work together again, and I will be referring business to them because her team was just so personable and on point. Look no further, Peaches’ Smokehouse & Southern Kitchen is the way to go. Take my 10 years in the business experience at value. Thanks Diana for being amazing at what you do.

I stood in a long line and patiently waited to order. As I stood in line I read the truck and their accolades of greatness. «Voted Best Food Truck«I begin to think this might actually be worth the wait. My son and I decide to order the pimento grilled cheese and a soda. $ 8 + We wait on the side and wait again. We watch two people that were behind us walk away with their food but continue to patiently wait. Finally our grilled cheese is ready. Yes!!! Looking at the grilled cheese the bread is toasted but the shredded cheese is not melted and there is a disgusting creamy sauce that has been slathered inside. My son refused to taste it. Being forever optimistic I took a huge bite and immediately regretted my choice. This was the biggest waste of time and money.

Would I describe this place as «peachy?» For the pun, yes I would. With that said, it is actually a pretty solid eatery and their food provides an ample amount of umami, as if it was cooked by my mommy. The pulled pork sandwich was absolutely delicious. the meat was savory and decently tender. The sauce complimented it perfectly so there was a zesty tang alongside some of the southern cajun spice. Furthermore, even though many pulled pork sandwiches often have bread that will discombobulate the moment you pick up the sandwich, this one was slightly slower on the uptake. What I mean by this is, even though it did eventually fall apart like all the other pulled pork sammys before it, this one held out for longer, and therefore was a cut above the rest. The criss cut cajun fries are also solid. They are oddly identical to the criss cut fries from Carl’s Jr., but for about a dollar or two more. With that said, they are still really solid fries, just a little expensive in comparison to what I could get for the same quality elsewhere for cheaper. All in all, I’d say if you were to come here, get the pulled pork sandwich– I know I didn’t regret it, and the head over to your nearest Carl’s Jr. and save yourself some cash as you buy the same fries to enjoy the same meal I had.

I’m not so much in a witty writing mood so i’ll just get into it by saying this was pretty bad. I also was at the food truck, not at the actual store so not sure how much of a difference there would be. I got the pimento grilled cheese sandwich, which was lackluster. I just don’t think pimento cheese is a good cheese for a grilled cheese. I almost couldn’t finish it. You’re known for your big BBQish oversize burgers, maybe make a grilled cheese that reflects that. Maybe a classic 3 cheese combo on texas toast with some BBQ sauce. How is it that i can make a better grilled cheese than people who do it for a living? Also got an order of waffle fries, which were cold and barely cooked. the potatoes tasted raw. No thanks

Convenient food truck and fast service, every entrée is no more than $ 10, plus $ 4 to add a side and drink. Pulled Pork Sandwich(with fresh coleslaw) is a must-try, their signature sandwich, so delicious, generous pork meat, very fulfilling, recommend.

Best food truck so far. Out of the 20 I’ve had already. Got the beef brisket. I can’t find any brisket of the same quality as Peaches in any restaurant in LA. very tender marbled and moist. When u bite into a sandwich, ur not pulling a whole slice cuz it’s SOO moist. It’s amazing! Best ever! — — - Went to this truck again last Monday 10÷19÷15 and was disappointed. I was hoping the same quality as the first time I had the brisket but it was not the same. Meat was a smaller portion and dry. Not too sure if the first time was just luck or maybe I went at a bad time? I like a place with consistent quality. However, I will still give this truck one more try.

My inebriated dreams came true when I stumbled upon Peaches’ at Ciderfest. It was early Autumn a hot afternoon in Los Angeles. The air was ripe with merriment, and the city’s most hip and thirsty Angelino’s were lining up by the hundreds to sample ciders of all kinds: sweet, sour, acrid, bitter, full-bodied. I usually am a festival fiend, but I fifteen minutes into drinking, I realized it was a poor decision to skip dinner. I was tipsy and desperate for a GREASY and MEATY treat. My tummy rejoiced when I found Peaches! I had the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich that, in its simplicity, was one of the best I ever had. The batter was extra crisp and flavorful, and the chicken was thick, tender and moist. I loved the soft brioche bun, creamy garlic aioli and crisp pickles. I appreciated that the chicken was the star of the show, and while the portion seemed small, the sandwich was actually quite filling. I also tried the daily special cider marinated ribs. They were tender, flavorful, meaty and super smokey. Prices are about the same as other food trucks… certainly not cheap. But the quality of the food is great and service is friendly and efficient. I can only hope Peaches’ will be waiting for my drunken arrival at another festival.

I think i found my favorite veggie burger in LA. Their buns are perfect. the patty was juicy and tasty along with the aioli. they put just the perfect amount of chopped lettuce and onion on top. i think is the best veggie burger i’ve had in the past 2 years. not exactly sure about the rest. but when i walked by some ppl with the veg burger one girl just said«wow, that looks GOOD». and it was.

Was not impressed. Got their signature pulled pork sandwich. It wasn’t bad, but it also wasn’t good enough for me to ever want to have one again. Their pulled pork isn’t so much juicy as it felt kind of watery. Perhaps the way they store it after they make it is trapping a lot of moisture and kind of steaming the meat? I dunno, but that’s what it tasted like. The bbq sauce was kind of weak and I wasn’t sure what they were going for with it. It was pretty thin compared to most southern sauces but it also wasn’t as vinegar-flavored as a North Carolina style sauces I’ve had in the past. What part of the south was this sauce style supposed to be from? To be fair, I don’t know that much about BBQ, so maybe it was legit, but it also didn’t do much for me. Their waffle fries are really good, but I was not impressed with their meat.

On a hot sunny day in Beverly Hills, Peaches’ was parked out front along a conga line of numerous food trucks feeding the masses dropping by for the local outdoor arts displays. Line wasn’t too long, and the service was friendly and quick. I ordered the Southern Patty Melt, and enjoyed every bite! So succulent and warm, a glorious combination of meat and cheese, with good seasoning, and a decent size. Perfect to fill you up, while not too much that it weighs you down the entire day.

I usually get the fried chicken sandwich with waffle fries. They have a garlic aioli that they put on it. So good. Do yourself a favor and eat here.

つº oº つ RAISEYOURCUTLERY つº oº つ Quick Bite: Awesome barbecue and amazing waffle fries, they deserve your money Full Course: This review is for their truck, since it doesn’t have it’s own Unilocal page, but I can imagine the food at their main location is either comparable or better. Peaches Truck is devoted to Southern comfort food, and it does that pretty damn well. I got their Pulled Pork Sandwich with a side of waffle fries. Everything was top notch, even the cole slaw tasted like some serious attention was put into it. I feel I have to pose this question, ever had waffle fries from Chick-Fil-A? Anyone I’ve ever talked to who’s had ‘em will say they rock. Well, these are better. They’re just… thicker, and the outer breading is a little heavier. When you bite into one of these bad boys, its very texturally pleasing. Dare I say it, they taste like they were made with love or something. You owe it to yourself to try them. — The Gourmand League

Even if your busy, customer service and a smile on your face can go along way with any consumer. Peaches Smokehouse has that down to an art. These are guys are awesome and I would go as far as saying they are some of the most friendliest Food Trucks I’ve ever come across. Ordering the Pull Pork, Pull Chicken sandwiches And the Redneck Nachos. While waiting the chef offer up a sample of their Fried Pickles. Now Im not much a of pickle person, but these were really really tasty and even without the side dip they were extremely sweet and i would highly recommend them as a appetizer. The sandwiches were not bad, I would choose the chicken over the pork as it was a little fatty. The Redneck Nachos were pretty bomb. Waffle fries, Pull Pork and sour cream. Pretty heavy but plenty of flavor. Overall Food: 4 – 5 Drink: 3 – 5(soda & water) Service: 5 – 5 Coming back: Yes

Movin’ to the country, gonna eat a lot of Peaches. This food truck calls Los Angeles it’s home and offers up southern-esque BBQ food. I had actually not seen this particular truck before, but they were in front of the LA Convention Center one day during Animé Expo and the food looked tasty so I decided to give ‘em a shot. My friend ordered the pulled pork sandwich and said it was tasty. I went w/the fried chicken sandwich and it was good; the bun it was served in was nice and soft and the chicken was fried rather well. My only complaints would be that the chicken is all dark meat which isn’t bad in and of itself if u don’t mind, but I prefer my chicken all white meat, and also that there could have been more sauce throughout the sandwich as some bites felt a little more dry than others. The wait time for the food was not too long considering the collective human blob of convention goers placing orders. Food was definitely served very hot as well. I would try this food truck again in the future but I think I might try sampling another one of their offerings.
