The best kosher dining in LA. I don’t eat out often, but when I do Pat’s is always my preferred choice. On my recent visit I noticed new menu items. They also offered healthy options, like brown rice as a side, and their whole wheat rolls are superb.

Excellent selection of Kosher dishes. The staff are always friendly and go out of their way to assist. Whenever we have a special family occasion we are booking at Pats!

Strangely I haven’t written a review on it(maybe too many years ago). I typically refer to this place as my favorite kosher meat restaurant(excluding the gastronomic Tierra Sur). Well, I may switch that title to La Gondola. Few weeks ago, I went and several disappointments happened. The avocado egg rolls we ordered were too thin and dry to be great. Gondola’s are much bigger and moist. The meat I ordered was way too cooked(medium vs. medium rare requested), not acceptable for this upscale restaurant. The roasted potatoes on the side were dry and felt re-heated/old. On that point, most LA Kosher steakhouses have that default I think. They can’t offer good, fresh roasted potatoes. It’s ranking from poor to terrible. My wife’s come much better, she should be praised. For dessert, I had the chocolate bread pudding. For me another disappointment: the bread part is too sweet and the chocolate used is so low quality you can’t feel eat much more than the sugar in the bread part. Also, where has their triple chocolate cake gone? My favorite dessert there and maybe in Kosher LA. Haven’t seen it in years(I don’t go often though). Service is very good.

The food here of out of this world. Casual steakhouse, so come I comfortable clothes and get ready to eat! Service is fast and friendly. I recommend the sliders, short ribs, baca grande, bbq chicken salad and last but not least the bread pudding!

Food was great. It’s pretty rare to see a kosher restaurant that is Zagat rated and this place was. The service was good and the mood was great. The food was amazing and I think I will be coming back. He only downside is that it does get crowded here and the price is on the higher end. I think it came it around $ 50/person.

I’ve been skeptical with writing a review for quiet some time. I must say we ordered the short ribs yesterday and they were so tender so soft so delicious so yummy The service I do not think deserves a 5star maybe a 4star but the food beat that it really was amazing And the lemonade non alcoholic cocktail was delicious as well

Pats overall is a great kosher restaurant. One of the few actually. Food is great and servers are nice and pleasant(usually pretty rare). On our last visit to pats, we had the sliders for appetizers(they were ok), for main dishes got steak and chicken Santa Fe salad. Food is probably best you can find in a kosher restaurant in la. One thing about pats is their desert. Their bread pudding is a must! Though it takes about 30 minutes to prepare so keep that in mind and make sure to tell them ahead of time. If it’s too close to closing time, they may not be able to prepare it anymore.

I am not Kosher so perhaps its odd that i went here. But my date is and she will only eat Kosher meat. The menu was extensive. Rather pricey steaks but more reasonable pastas, salads and such. I am told Kosher meat is more expensive then regular but still a $ 40.00 steak needs to taste like it. Mine did. The lamb shank was equally tasty as was the chicken dish our neighbor offered share when she heard i’d be writing this review. The bread pudding is amazing, the pastry tray awesome. We observed several families sitting at large tables and not a few couples on a date. parking is by valet only due to street restriction in the neighborhood

The best prime I’ve ever had. That first bite put me in heaven. The service is medium paced but I can’t complain as this place gets busy. Came with the family and everyone was satisfied. I highly recommend the chocolate babka cake for dessert. Will be back.

Stopped by for a dinner with the group. Restaurant was very busy for the Monday night, which is always a good sign. The wine list was surprisingly limited — only one selection of the Israeli wine, nothing really upscale. However, we tried Australian Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon from North Coast of California(both are obviously kosher), and both were quite good(and very inexpensive). I had Mango Avocado salad for an appetizer which was very tasty. Chilean Seabass with mango salsa and kumquat sauce was delicious — spot on seasoning, flavors in the dish worked very well. Overall, everybody in the group were quite happy with their meals. Very good service. Recommended.

I attended a trade meeting tonight where I just had the most awesome kosher meal at The Westin Los Angeles Airport Hotel provided by Pat’s. Beautiful salad with small cuts of every vegetable you can think of, including avocado, tasty dressing, roll with olive tapenade and a lemon chicken with spinach and rice. All well sealed and tastefully presented. This was a lovely and unexpected surprise considering I thought I was going to eat a cold raw vegan meal of carrots and celery! Thank you Pat’s!

Best meal in LA during a 1 week trip. Had an amazing server– Nicole. Food was outstanding– shirt rib sliders, avocado egg rolls, crispy pastrami, Maestro steak and bread pudding and service was excellent. Will definitely plan to eat here on my next trip!

Meh… That about sums it up. I love having a quality kosher restaurant but food overall is simply average. Nothing exciting. Would only come for kosher aspect not for taste. Bread in beginning is warm and great dip. I took one bite of soup and chose not to eat it– lack of flavor and substance. Chicken skewer app was like frozen chicken tenders defrosted and microwaved. My main dish was good– Dover sole but I hope so for the price. Cocktail was just awful– never again. Bread pudding was amazing but made me too full and sick from how rich it was. Not rushing back… Still feel full with stomach ache next day.

Pat’s has easily become one of my favorite restaurants on Pico … one of my favorite restaurants anywhere! While adored as a kosher steakhouse by many patrons who come for the meats, the vegetarian dishes here are NOJOKE. Hypothetically — if I were on death row, their Pomodoro Crudo would be my last meal. They’ve also an awesome rotating menu of parve desserts(that don’t taste parve) so their is always a different treat to try after dinner. I’ve actually been at other restaurants — and left because I’d rather be at Pat’s… and shout-out to the staff who has always been super accommodating(even when they’re busy and we’re caught without a reservation — oops).

Best kosher restaurant in LA. Amazing service and amazing food. I recommend the bbq chicken salad and most definitely the bread pudding. Love this place! I forgot to mention how much I love Nechama and Max, thank you for always providing us with the best service. This restaurant is always my family’s top choice for dining kosher!
