Papa John’s Pizza

Manager saw my comments on here or thru corp office and called me yesterday to sincerely apologize. She said she was humiliates at the service I received and did not want to lose me as a regular customer. She offered to refund my money, and gave me credit for a few pizzas to make it up to me. Hopefully this helps the service for everyone, but major kudos to manager Natalie for stepping up and calling to make things right after all that went wrong on her day off!

It had been a while since I’d ordered from a Papa John’s. I’m not sure if it’s just this location or Papa John’s has gone downhill, but it was really bad. Took a few bites and tossed it.

Poor quality pizza that has no taste and barely any sauce or cheese. I bought a Groupon which gave me a large pizza/​1 topping ($ 18 value) however when I checkout they forced me to order $ 10 extra of food and on top of that they charge a ridiculous $ 3.50 delivery fee plus tax and tip. I live a 5 minute drive why is the delivery fee so high. Also I have called several times their customer service for assistance and they are always so rude. Its incredible how bad it is! Unfortunately papa johns you have officially lost another customer. I’ve ordered in different states and have noticed the big dropped in quality overall and this was just another reminder of why I haven’t ordered from them in years. I will never order from any papa johns again! Their pizza is too pricey for the quality; I suggest ordering from pizza hut which has good tasting pizza and they always have specials.

Garbage. Ordered Pizza and Wings. They missed the pizza on the order, charged me twice for delivery when they had to come back with the pizza.

This place is a joke. I ordered a pizza that took 2hours and thirty minutes to get to my place. By the time I got the pizza it was cold. Terrible service.

Great service manager and staff are very friendly. Specially the girl and guy with the glasses they’re a great team on a busy day. Love there service and the way that show your pizza when they give it to you. Tipped them $ 5 each. Keep it up papa johns

Service was on time, found a good deal online (order online, everyone!)
However, toppings we had specified for specific halves of the pizza came out wrong, which, if you’re eating with people that specifically ask for special combos on specific halves of the pizza, is about the worst thing that could happen. Luckily my companion did not hate anchovies as much as other people would, but MAN I can see people being super peeved about that.

I’m very disappointed!
It seems un-​American to charge an additional fee for delivery + standard tip. It should be one or the other.

Papa Johns use to be my go to pizza place. And it is at almost any other location. But this one… Omg. Don’t get me wrong, the delivery guy was super sweet. He was just 15 minutes later than the email said he’d be (I ordered through the app). The pizza was lumpy, the crust burnt, and had about an inch of sauce in some places on the slice. The cheese isn’t even the same color as the pizza I normally order from the downtown LA location. It looks like it’s from a totally different pizza place. Just avoid this place if you’re looking for quality pizza, or if you fell in love with the crust. Because it is not the same.

Today is New Year’s Day, I came in knowing that it would be busy but I didn’t realize that no one knows how to deal with customers unless they are on the phone. I came in physically and it took almost 25 minutes for Wendy to even speak to me. She kept answering phones even though I was first and another customer came in and she spoke with her first even though she came I’m ten minutes after me. I’m just really disappointed because I came I’m for breadsticks and they take 5 minutes to make and I wasted my time because Wendy does not have proper customer service skills. The chefs/​pizza makers were in a rush which is COMPLETELY understandable, but none of them looked happy to be there, and it literally ruined the first ‘fresh’ day of the new year for me. Thank you and I won’t be coming back. Learn to smile and learn to remember the order in which people come through the door. It’s your job. By the way my wait time was 45 minutes for breadsticks. FOR BREAD.

I called 2x trying to order a pizza. My sil (sister in law) called 2x and was put on eternal hold. I used the mobile site and could not enter the dashes for my phone number. There was no option. So i tried to download the app and just took it as a sign.
Business must be so good they dont need to pick up the phone. I ordered from pizza go instead.

It’s papa johns! But delivery took a full hour this time, last time they were as expected 20 – 40 minutes. Promo codes are available if you google papa johns promo codes I used an25% off one and it worked. The staff is very friendly even if late just don’t order if your starving and want a quick delivery otherwise good!

Never thought Papa Johns would deserve a 1 star!
Everything was OK the first couple of times, then mysteriously everything got worse each time I ordered something from this place.
First time the driver just didn’t bother to leave the car. That was OK, cause everyone has really hard days.
Second time my drink was forgotten. And I waited for an hour.
These small mistakes didn’t bother so much — until today. 40 minutes in to the delivery time I get a call. It was Papa Johns, informing of the cancellation. They said that there was such a traffic at they’re store, from which I understood, that they are not delivering at all.

It’s papa John’s. It’s a chain. Don’t know why people are five stars or one. It’s what you expect. Dough that’s shipped in. Pepperoni from bags. Cheese grabbed from a cold make line. Bubbles popped with a pitch fork. About the same quality every time. Ask for the pepperoni under the cheese like they did in the old days. Extra garlic sauce for dipping, and don’t worry– it’ll be like papa John’s. Cuz it is.

Normally I like papa johns pizza over the other delivery options but not anymore. I ordered a small ham and pineapple pizza and a salad last night and I’ve been throwing up out of both ends all night and today. I’m assuming the pizza was cross contaminated as the salad was packaged. Fail

When I moved to Los Angeles a couple months ago, I saw a banner for Papa John’s announcing that they were opening soon. Imagine my joy a month later when I found out they were finally open!
The establishment was quite small, but there were two tables and several chairs if you wanted to dine-​in. There were coupons for a $ 10 large 3-​topping pizza. The coupon said you had to order online, but the worker allowed me to use the discount in the store. I ordered a large pepperoni, mushroom, and olive pizza.
The worker told me the wait would be 8 minutes. I don’t remember how long I actually waited (I wasn’t timing it), but it didn’t seem too long.
When they came out with my pizza, they verified the toppings with me and lifted the box’s lid so I could see that the toppings were correct. As is standard with Papa John’s pizzas, my box came with the garlic dipping sauce and a pepperoncini.
I’m not sure if this is a thing at all Papa John’s, but the cheese was on top of all the toppings (I’m used to the toppings being on top of the cheese).
Nevertheless, the pizza was delicious and cheesy. The crust was crunchy and held its integrity despite the number of toppings layered on top of it.
I will definitely be back!
