I love panda express but the workers here hate their jobs. Theres no doubt about that. They are rude, could care less about customer service and always make you feel like you are inconveniencing THEM by asking for food. The portions they serve in this place can be pathetic depending on which employee is serving you. I Have literally gotten a manager and told them to add food because the plate size was dismal. While the food is always good, when it comes down to eating at the westside pavilion I much prefer the thai place that’s a couple stores down. Huge portions, great workers, and good food.

Food was ok, for fast cheap food. Al was good except the fried rice was over cooked… But, my goodness! It was pulling teeth to give me good service! First of all, there was no line and I waited for about one whole minute before I was acknowledged. Finally, somebody approached me, stood in front of me but didn’t greet, not a peep out of her. Just stared at me. I assumed that was my queue to order… I ordered and she was rushing me as if she had a line! Nobody in line… just me. The cook started to say something and she the. Joked back and that’s when I finally saw her smile. Hmmmmm… ok. I thought about getting eggrolls and she started to charge me… hmmmmm I want 2 egg rolls, please… She had the nerve to roll her eyes. I should have left at that point… but I remained kind and courteous… smiled and to her to have a great day! Wait, isn’t that her job? Her name: Gema C. At least that’s what’s on the receipt.

Food isn’t bad so the cooks are doing a great job in the back but unfortunately all the servers are cheap as hell! They barely put anything onto your plate/to go box and this was on EVERY visit with EVERY server! I finally had enough one time due to the ridiculous portion and walked away when the lady rang me up at the register. I told her«no thanks» and just went to the buffet down the street. Food is as good if not better and the same price!

Ok, so I know this is not authentic Chinese, but there are times when I want to eat something quick and easy and inexpensive. Panda Express serves up fast food Chinese with decent taste and large portions. This location is housed in the Westside Pavilion Mall food court, 3rd floor, which has several fast food choices. The prices here are pretty standard to most of the other Panda Express locations. Service was efficient. tip — this is a good place to grab a quick bite before seeing a movie at the Landmark Theatre on the same floor, opposite of Nordstrom.

I have a love-hate relationship with Chinese food. We eat a lot of Chinese food and sometimes I just get sick of it and try to avoid it all costs. But sometimes, I am just in the mood for some Chinese and I go with it. Today was one of those days and Panda Express was available. I know it is fast food Chinese, but if you choose wisely, you can get a good meal here. For lunch I had the Shitake Kale Chicken and mixed vegetables(giving up my usual fried rice in an effort to be healthy) for lunch and I was very pleased. The meal was flavorful and filling. I really enjoyed it. This location is pretty nice. It is kept clean and the employees are super friendly and helpful. They are pretty good about keeping the food fresh. It does get busy at lunch and they do a fair job of keeping up with the crowd. Sometimes, it does take a few extra minutes for them to restock the food, but they do work hard to get it out there.

Like any other Panda Express, this particular one is usually short staffed it seams like so it goes a little slower, I ordered the vegetables and when I bit into it, all the fat that they had put in there to cook it was clumped together in middle of the vegetable, really disgusting, other then that just ok

Well. this is a good spot for food. Located in a mall, you can park in the upper level and go straight to the food court. BUT… The service is ridiculously rude. Vero helped me. I have to mention her name because the other girl was nice and friendly. First of all, no greeting at all. When I started to order food, she didn’t even listen on what I asked. All of the sudden she left me without saying anything. She then came back and still without any word. I had no idea what she did. I guess she just wanted me to finish ordering food as fast as I could. If they are busy, I could understand it. But there was no one in a line.

Omar A says it best – TYPICAL Panda Express. You can always know what you’re getting… Will say that they were super generous with their portion sizes(even more so than the huuuuge portions you get usually), though the lady was a bit hard to understand.

Well, I did not eat there, but was in the ladies restroom and watched a panda express employee use the restroom and she did not wash her hands. She then went on to stand behind that food serving line. Ouch! She is serving food! Maybe the manager needs to go over the basic rules. One would think that it is common sense to wash ones hands, after using the rest room.

i mean what can i say, it’s fast chinese food that has probably been sitting out for days. The chow mein was so dry i expected to find at least one dry… That being said, I did like how spicy the tofu/eggplant was.

When I came here to order my food, no one greeted me. There was no line in front of me at ALL. The cook saw me waiting and ignored. After waiting for five minutes, a person came and helped me with my order. The worker was really mean. The food is not hot at all. The teriyaki chicken is not seasoned and doesnt even come with a sauce. They should just call it meat. BADSERVICE

What do you expect when you go to a fast food chain? Horrible service and workers pretending to not understand you… YUP! That’s it… If that’s what you like then come here. The worker will tell you one price, then when you ask again the price goes up! [That escalated quickly!] What about the manager? Hmmm… let’s talk to Eduardo and see if he offers us something for the lying worker and frustration… hahaha… That’s a joke! Eduardo acts dumb and says he can’t do anything. Let’s take it to the next level… call customer service. Ok, no one is there, so leave a message… do they return your call? NO! Next step… reach out to them through their ‘contact us’ link… and write this review… Oh yeah, how can I forget. We were two people who ordered two dishes and got one fork and one fortune cookie! Maybe Eduardo thought one of us would eat the food and the other would have the fortune cookie. Dude, go back to school and learn how to count! I went back to tell him, and he basically throws a fork and two more fortune cookies at me, like he wanted me to leave. What a jerk! And the surf n turf stinks just like their service.

UnilocalINSIDERTIPFROMDOREEN(AKAAZNPERSUASION): You can get veggies instead of rice or noodles. They are lightly seasoned and taste great. I was worried they were just plain/steamed. ***** I have no shame in admitting I like Panda Express. :) LOL I’m all about their mushroom chicken, string bean with chicken breast, and broccoli beef. Since I’m doing a no rice/carb diet, I did find out you can get veggies instead of rice or noodles. Yay!

went here for lunch with my wife . the food is always great, fresh healthy, hot and fast. i relaay like the reasonable prices 9.00 for a full plate lunch is a great deal, the sobe light cranberry drink is also a great addition. we had the glazed shripm and angus beef with chow mein. great plate. the only problem is the server, the lady filling my plate was gruff. not pleasant. she was hard to hear as she barked over the counter that my shrimp was one dollar more, i ordered 2 portions of the shrimp and she barked again one dollar more.!! i got to the cashier and it was a world of differance, she was pleasant and did make my experience a good one, she salvaged the mood. the servers need a bit of personality training, it was not busy so that was not the reason, i will go back because i am a fan of the food. and the new angus steak is a great addition

Boo. Boo. Boo. Boo. Boo. This Panda Express made me never want to eat at Panda Express ever again. As one who proclaims Panda Express to be the«King of All Fast Food,» I have to really hate a Panda Express to let such blasphemy come from these Burt’s Bees’ pampered lips. I’ve been here a few times and even though the location appears no busier than others, they are always struggling to keep any of the food trays full or near full. The people working there care more about talking to each other than working and they only seem to fill up trays when someone axes them to(or… in some cases, they just ignore it). I went here last week and wanted to get my usual 2 Item Combo with Eggplant Tofu and Spring Rolls. When I made it to the front of the line, I saw that there was no eggplant tofu and there were no Spring Rolls. The guy behind the counter tried to tell me that Chicken Egg Rolls were the Veggie Spring Rolls(even though they look completely different). I explained to him that the Chicken Egg Rolls were rough on the outside, while the Spring Rolls were smooth. He admitted they were chicken egg rolls(how embarrassing that I knew the product better than him! For him and for me!). Regardless, he said I could wait 5 minutes for both. Because I really wanted it, I sat down and waited. 20 minutes later… after seeing 2 trays of Orange Chicken, 1 tray of Beijing Beef, and 1 tray of Kung Pao Chicken come out — three items that already had plenty in the trays — there were no Spring Rolls, there was no E&T. The guy who said it was going to be 5 minutes kept looking at me with a blank stare, vacant«Audrina» eyes, seemingly not piecing together the fact that I was waiting for the E&T. I sat. I sat. I sat. He didn’t ask what I was waiting for, there was no «I’m sorry… I forgot.» I just sat. And eventually, I left. I realize this is a $ 6.00 meal. I’ve worked in Fast Food and realize that people working in FF generally don’t give a crap about the customers. But I also think that they should care a rabbit sized nugget about their customers if they won’t go all the way with the full doodoo. This Panda Express sucks.

I was once told by a Chinese friend that«That’s not real Chinese food.» I replied, «I know. If I wanted real Chinese food, I wouldn’t be going to Panda Express.» Panda Express is McDonald’s for Chinese food. Most selections are made for the American palate(not spicy or containing exotic ingredients) and those that are spicy are clearly marked. I admit this was very helpful to me as a kid, as I hated anything spicy. The quality is pretty much what you would expect from a fast food establishment. But, if something looks too old to be appealing, you can always ask for new stuff, and they will tell you how long until it’s done. It’s not a «made to order» place, of course, but if the chow mien looks like it’s about to die, they are usually already making new stuff and you’ll just have to wait a couple minutes. == Location Specific Review Follows == This location is in the Westside Pavilion’s food court. The court is clean and has a children’s play area. So, if you have little kids, this location is probably excellent for you. If you don’t like the sound of little kids screaming every so often, you would probably want to avoid this Panda Express. The service is fast all-day, with the exception of the lunch rush. I’ve been in a 20 customer long queue, which can be quite a drag. The servers are not dragging their feet, it’s just that busy during lunch. The food is good and up to the usual Panda Express standards.
