Pamela’s Kitchen Table

Pamela prepared and hosted a Tea Party for my 10-​year old daughter and six of her friends at our house. From the table settings, to the food, to the decorate-​your-​own cupcakes, this was the most beautiful, fun party for the girls! She made mini versions of her classic grilled cheese and chicken and waffles. She taught the girls how to prepare and drink their tea (some had never had tea before). And she baked wonderful cupcakes and brought decorations so the girls could each decorate their own. The place cards were hand-​made. Pamela’s attention to detail is amazing. It was a very memorable event!

My family and I have hired Pamela for two Thanksgiving meals, and we were absolutely blown away, as were our guests! Pamela and her team are incredibly talented, professional and dependable. To start, their Thanksgiving menus fulfill every person’s vision of what a great Thanksgiving meal looks like. From the mouth-​watering turkey, to the perfect stuffing, a multitude of the most coveted sides, and the most delicious and visually appealing desserts one can dream of. We also ordered her famous seafood gumbo – which was incredibly generous, and left our guests raving for years. I can’t tell you how much passion Pamela and her team have for their craft – and for perfecting the art of leaving you speechless. I highly recommend allowing Pamela to do the heavy-​lifting, whether for Thanksgiving, a catering function, or a special meal for your family. Rest assured, the highest quality of ingredients will be used, and all you need to do is set the table! We can’t wait for Pamela’s Kitchen Table (the restaurant) to open this summer, so more people can experience authentic Cajun cuisine, from an authentic southern soul.

We were already sold on there cleaning services, but after hearing so much about their food, we decided to have Pamela over to prepare a nice meal for my Husband and I.
They have a couple of different options that you can choose from, but the private chefs service seemed different, and fun.
Pamela arrived just a few hours before dinner, with one server/​assistant.
The presentation of our dinner table was simple elegance.
We enjoyed grilled salmon, with a mango salsa, roasted potatoes, with grilled asparagus, and honey rolls. She even paired a nice chardonnay to go with it.
It was simply amazing, everything. I went to sleep with mango salsa on the brain. To top it off, chocolate covered strawberries for desert. We felt like we were in a small intimate restaurant, just located in our dining room instead.
Not to mention, its something we can afford to do again.
Worth noting, they left our kitchen cleaner than they found it!
So glad I found these guys… they are just so talented.

Absolutely amazing!!! Pamela and her team extremely professional and kind, they go out of their way to make sure their customers are happy. The food is top quality and the menu has something for everyone. I tried JustPLJ’s «Recipe in a Box» for a dinner party, and my friends were in awe of how delicious, fresh, and easy to prepare everything was. I have had the prepared meals delivered as well, which are ideal for busy nights when you still want a fresh home cooked meal, but cooking is out of the question.
I highly recommend JustPLJ to anyone looking for a delicious meal!

We had the prepared meal drop off plan for a month. Food was very freshly prepared, portions were generous, ingredients were of good quality and the food variety was sufficient that we didn’t get bored with it. It was very nice to come home without stopping at the grocery store and being able to put dinner on the table in ten minutes.
For us, the down side was that we missed cooking together, and we missed other styles of food that we had routinely cooked. If we only could have found this when we were bachelors living on frozen dinners!
One last thing, Pamela is an ace at caring for her customers, so whatever it is you need, all you have to do is ask. You won’t find someone more committed to customer service and who truly receives joy from helping others manage their busy lives. We still take advantage of other services at Just PLJ because of that. In a world where customer service has taken a backseat, Pamela is old school.

Its not everyday you get authentic, home-​style cajun cuisine in the Los Angeles area. Its great to know that the JustPLJ team has come to the rescue!
And don’t get me started on the team! Their hospitality and service parallels the amazingness they create in the kitchen. AND Dray’s desserts!!! That banana pudding cheesecake WOW!
So do yourself and your little taste-​buddies a favor and send them on a vacation! They deserve it for all these years of unconditional servitude!
