At one point I brought a dress in to be altered: I was quoted $ 30, but when I returned three days later I tried on the dress and found the it was not altered properly I paid for the dress along with a few other pieces that needed minor care; a broken zipper & a hole that needed to be stitched. I expressed my displeasure with the fit and quality of the altering on the dress and the woman immediately said she understood, was sorry and began re-​pining the dress, presumably to rectify her mistake. She told me she would fix it and the dress would be ready and correctly altered by the following week. When I came back that next week I took a look at the dress and it seemed to have been done properly, I thanked her and began to walk out the door but on my way out was told I owed an additional 45 dollars for the second bit of altering, I explained to her that it wasn’t part of the deal etc but she fought with me for it. I paid the additional money and openly vowed never to return.
Oh and a side note, that zipper that I got fixed? it broke the first time I put on that dress. turns out it wasn’t fully sewn in. Not real impressed by this place and their shoddy work.
