Palace Barber Shop

I’ve been coming to this place for years. Ever since I was an LMU student. Its straight forward, no frills barber shop. To the guy who gave them 1-​star, it probably takes a lot to refer someone to another shop. He’s honest and does a good job. My edges are always clean!

Awful, just awful. The service was poorly done and rushed. There was a lack communication with the barber and he was a bit rude to me. Even with me stating over and over that my hair needed to be cut more, he finally got my hair done correctly, but not as good. I didn’t even bother to leave a tip. I do not recommend this barber to anyone.

This barbershop is the real thing, not some hipster trying to pose as Floyd the Barber. I saw another review where the patron was aghast at how was treated with indifference. Sensitive men should go to a Salon, not a barber.
Marc is old school and that’s how I like it. If you’re looking for a no frills cut, say a 4 – 6, this is the place. Marc has been cutting my hair for years, and I’ve always been happy with his work.
He’s a lively conversationalist too, so don’t think he’s boring or stodgy because he does not do «perms» or dye-​jobs. It’s not a place to get a cut before you get your new set of head shots taken. It’s a place to go to talk baseball and get your monthly shearing… wehter you need it or not.

I have been going here off and on for 13 years. The last few years it has been in decline. The owner/​barber seems more concerned with his cellphone than the customers. He really only does the bare minimum.
In the future, I will be taking my business elsewhere where I can get more for my money.

All I wanted was a quick clean up around the edges. Sound simple right?
I walk in and there was one barber sitting in his own chair with no customers. I told him what I wanted and he said I dont do that and refers me to another barber up the street. I was shocked! Like are you serious? You’re a f’n barber…

Friendly men’s barber. I have an easy haircut so not looking for anything special. He does a decent job for $ 15 or so.
