It seems to me that it takes a very long time to make the pizza. I’ve waited for about close 25 minutes the minute I stepped in here. The front door is literally the back door. Upside is that there is free parking. So that’s okay. It seems nice and quiet. More over, the pizza on the other hand seemed not as big as I thought it’d be. It has a sweet taste to it, and when I asked for pepperoni it seemed to had been covered up by most of the cheese. And it has a sweet flavor when I bit into it, not really a pizza flavor… For 15 bucks… it’s okay, but probably not going to come back.

Tastes just like I remember. Crust is amazing. Ask for extra sauce when you order(not the marinara, but the one they put on the pizza… with the chunks of tomato). We ordered the Works. Super good. I remember the Hawaiian tasting bomb too. Def recommend this place. Don’t be turned off by the dark atmosphere. Take a load off after going up those Baldwin hills stairs or the Hahn hike, and grab some salad and pizza. Salad is crisp, cold, and well prepared. Thank you Chef.

This was such a pleasant delivery experience. My pizza arrived earlier than the time suggested. My pizza was accurate and generous with the toppings. There was lots of cheese, just enough sauce and I didn’t have to ask for parmesan and red pepper flakes because they were already in there! I’m definitely going to make this my go to for deliver.

I placed an order through Eat24 knowing I didn’t want to fuss with making a hot meal after a 12 hour work day. In the notes area, I had put the gate code for my apartment building so they could knock on the door since I knew someone would be home to sign for the food. Upon leaving work and checking my phone, I noticed I had a missed call and a voicemail from the delivery driver, telling me they were outside my complex with my delivery… see, the reason I gave the tip I did was for the fact that they were going to be coming into my complex and up a flight of stairs. Besides the fact that that’s their job, I didn’t see what the issue was. I called the delivery driver, no answer. So I called Número uno. I explained the situation, and they THEN told me they don’t go into apartment complexes at night in THAT neighborhood. Well, excuse me if you’re scared of nothing, but that’s not stated ANYWHERE on their eat24 page, or in emails. They could have expressed this when I placed the order and avoided the headache. I asked for a refund seeing as how they didn’t offer to redeliver, and the man on the phone kept cutting me off repeating himself about not going into the complex, then finished his rant with«you have to call eat24 for a refund. bye» and hung up on me. Pretty much wasted my time. My suggestion? Read the Unilocal reviews on this place. They’re here for a reason. I wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt, but joke’s on me.

If you like thick crust it’s great. But over all you can get way better pizza. Go some place else.

I have had better but good sandwich. Could use a little larger meatballs(2 cut in half) to make 6 inch snack. Sauce was ok but a little cold.

Can’t say I’m surprised that the Health Department closed Numero Uno due to a vermin infestation — probably long overdue.

Total jackasses. Placed a delivery order, an hour and a half later it never showed up. The guy on the phone was incredibly rude and not helpful at all. Won’t be ordering from here again.

They’re hit and miss. Pricing is kinda a lot for what you get. My last pizza was burnt nearly all around. Pretty unacceptable if you ask me. Other times they are good. I prefer it over Little Caesars.

Man, I am sorry to say but this place is a dump. Not sure why there is a guy laying on the seats watching TV. I really wish I did a walk-through before I ordered pizza and wings from here. Not sure what happened to this place! It use to be a nice place to eat. I really hope the food is much better than the look and smell. I’ll let you know

Número uno pizza is one of my favorites, and this location is one of the original NU pizza joints, so it is a bit nostalgic for me. Ordered pizza and it hardly had any meat and was not tasty except for the great crust.

Okay so I grew up in Baldwin hills and have been coming here for years. My family loves it. Now, the problem is that being that I’ve been coming here for years, The owners have never updated the appearance of the place. Its the same stale décor since the 90s for sure. Its usually empty but the locals always carry out. With that said, The food is AWESOME! its my favorite pizza place thus far. The salads are always fresh and yummy and the bread balls are awesome! When it comes to food, No complaints.

Wow do I love their thick crust pizza loaded with toppings! This is definitely my favorite place to get pizza as nothing else compares! Their service has always been surprisingly quick considering I always order the«thick» crust pizza. The wings are great to get on the side too!

Walked I’m the door and just sat down. The guy barely saw me come in. Sat down but then wanted to walk out the door. The menus were nasty. Just plain dirty. I was hungry and the funny thing is there aren’t any customers. Except for one guy eating some kind of spaghetti or something. One side of the dining room the lights are off. finally a compa shows up with the nasty menus. Not even a salad is served I asked in my best in most courteous Spanish and asked if there aren’t any specials and said no. Not very friendly service and the floor was dirty. 20 min later the pizza shows up finally!!! I don’t know how this place stays in business. I don’t know how much they paid the inspector that have this place an A, dude must of got paid off. The piZza was luke warm and the outside was hot. Overall I don’t think I will come back here to eat again sorry guys.

Really good pizza and wings! Not the greatest service. Walked in and waited to be seated, until I waived down a waiter. We waited for someone to take our order and no one came. so I waived down a waiter and ordered. Then ordered water and never had it refilled. My glass and my friends glass were empty for quite a while, so he asked for more water, and the guy brought only him a glass… Then we waited and waited to be asked if we were done and if the check was ready to be paid. But no one came. Once the food was there they were no where to be seen. Again I waived down a waiter to pay. Good food, not the best service.

The pizza here is really good… but not only is the pizza great so are the appetizers and pasta dishes. Romano Puffs– amazing Lasagna– delicious Pizza– fantastic(the chunks of tomato and thick crust make for a perfect combo) The service is also great(I usually order to go).

If there was anything less than one star, this place would get it. The first time I called here, they had no drivers for delivery. The second time, they don’t deliver to my address. It’s a mile away. The idiot on the phone… nevermind. Just stay away. Too bad too. Numero Uno is my absolute favorite pizza. Where did I move to???

I know everyone says their favorite pizza place is great. But really, most of them are pretty much the same. Numero Uno is actually unique. The crust is a little thicker than your average pizza. Not quite BJ’s thick, but that’s not really a good comparison anyway. And a little sweet. I don’t usually go for sweet pizza crust, but it really works here. Best part is they actually take the coupons that are advertised! Campus Circle often has one up(search for it on their site). Several Numero Uno locations refuse to take it, even though their location is listed. Not so here. The guy checked that my coupon wasn’t expired, but after that, no problem. Three topping large for $ 11 plus tax! ground beef, great. Jalapenos, decent. Garlic, well, there was way too much garlic. But that’s easy enough to take off. The location is a bit shady, they do have one of those windows that separates you from the cashier and all. But come during the day, no problem.

I was trying to place a phone order with a man there he was very RUDE. I choose to take my money and my business somewhere else. I don’t understand why some people open business’s in our community and than offer the worse customer service and think we still have to do business with them. I WILLNEVERGOHEREORPLACEANORDERHERE. Numero Uno is my favorite childhood pizza & when I’m in L.A., I often seek out a location to bring a pizza home. I’ve never gone to this location before. I went on a regular weekday and there wasn’t a soul in the place. I guess they stay busy on the weekends. This location has bulletproof glass separating the customer from the employee/cash register, so I guess it can be a bit unsafe at night. The employee at the time was nice. Regarding the pizza itself, it’s good as always, although the crust in the past was a bit sweeter… maybe that’s just this particular location’s way of making it.
