Next Door Solar

I was very satisfied with Next Door Solar. They were very knowledgeable regarding the savings, the costs and the installation process. They explained in detail the financing possibilities and presented the options available. They monitored the installation, inspected the results and made sure the final touch ups were made. There are lots of solar companies out there. This is one of the best!

I’ve had 2 – 3 solar people knock on my door every month for the last year or so and I’ve always just said no to them all. Most of them seemed obnoxious or rude. When Brandon from Next Door Solar knocked on my door he was actually really pleasant and polite. So, decided to give these guys a chance. Overall, it’s been really positive experience.
The sales rep that came by was extremely patient with all my questions. I am the type of person that is really skeptical when something seems to good to be true. I was even more concerned when I found out that Next Door Solar had been only around since January. The sales rep, Johnny assured us he was going to whatever it takes to make us a happy since they were trying to establish themselves in the area. We were given multiple options to go solar but we ultimately chose the power purchase agreement. During the process, a problem did arise. Edison would not allow the necessary main panel upgrade without trenching. We nearly canceled the process but we compromised by installing a smaller system. The install itself was extremely impressive. The crew showed up in uniform and was very professional. They left the house in great shape with no trash or. I also noticed that they did the little things like paint the conduit and even replace a couple broken tiles from another contractor. At one point, Johnny came by and had them re-​route the conduit under the eaves to give the install a cleaner look which I was happy with
So, the install went great. But did it work and will I save money? It’s been about three months and I have been pleased with the results and my savings. I am getting clean energy at much cheaper rates than the power company. Johnny has checked in on me occasionally since the install and answered my new questions. Overall, I think Next Door Solar was great to work with and couldn’t have asked for better solar guys.
