I only let the guys at ny tailor handle my cloths they do a great job and with fair prices I am not afraid to hand over expensive items for the care

Went off the Unilocal reviews and wish I didn’t, this time. They don’t charge much relative to what’s nearby. Another spot quoted me $ 25 to alter the chest/​waist of my suit coat. This place quoted $ 15. My folk was so excited that I just said okay and went w/​them, thinking how hard could this be?
I come back 3 days later and they have both coats ready, but they don’t fit right.
They were willing to take two attempts to fix it while I waited. For their willingness to accommodate customers, they get a service star. But competency? They still didn’t fit right after three total attempts and an extra 75 minutes of waiting.
I’ve been to two other tailors who have done much better work, but sadly are not nearby. I wish I never got the coats tailored because now I am not sure who is capable of doing a good job.

So I was in need of a new tailor and I decided to come here to get some clothes worked on. They did a great job! Price was very reasonable. The clothes were available the day they said it would be too.
Cash only. Parking is metered on the street or you can find a neighboring lot.

A friend took me here 3 years ago due to he has been going since he was a minor. I took a few items to get taken up in the waist. The tailor has try-​on rooms, so he can take measurements right on the spot. He isn’t too pricey and does great work. It’s like I bought my clothes of the rack perfect in every way.

New York Tailor is my go to spot in downtown for alterations of all types. I’ve been coming here for years. Great prices, expert service, and as fast as you need them to be.
I’ve gotten everything from full suit reconstruction to basic hems done and it’s all come out great. They do it all.

I’ve been going to New York Tailor for the past 15 years. Rafael and his brother do a superb job at tailoring everything from kids to adult clothes. I’ve yet to be disappointed. They treat every piece of clothing with care regardless of how insignificant it may seem.
I’ve recommended friends and family, some of which trust them with their favorite pieces of clothing.
Their turnaround is great, especially because their they give you a realistic time frame.
Their prices are reasonable.
