Best mani pedi ever! Beautiful spot with high tech chairs and attentive friendly staff. Got nails done by Julie and she did a perfect job! Absolutely beautiful. She took care of me like a mama or a caring friend — truly made me feel special and had my best interest in mind. I love the scrub, beverage service, iPad in the chairs, and little pod chairs. Thank you Julie I will be back!

Yes Yes YES! Perla is amazing! Came in with hopes of walking out with amazing nails and she did not disappoint! Perla took her time and was thorough till the end. I’ll be coming back!

I came her for the first time back in February for my boyfriends sisters birthday gift and I’m over due to a review. This place is amazing! I recommend Julie she is nice, funny, and does an amazing job!!! I recommend the deluxe pedi it comes with a sugar scrub, leg mask, and lotion/​conditioner I believe! Also as much champagne as you want! the receptionist is sweet and very helpful over the phone and in person! No complaints what so ever!

Came here twice to get my hair blow dried. The salon is small with a very simple white and pink décor.
Samira and Megan were the 2 stylists who worked on my hair on different dates.
I have naturally curly hair with a bit of a freeze and I wanted to get a blow dry with waves.
The whole process took about 30 – 45 minutes — I have a lot of hair.
I got great compliments on my hair both at the wedding and my graduation.
I recommend both Samira who is the main stylist at the dry bar and Megan at the flagship salon.

Neihule is in a very convenient location and super cute inside! Awesome VIP touch wth the free drink service too. Definitely recommend for nails!

I just got a spray tan and unfortunately I am orange now. I used to get spray tans here all the time and had a great experience.

I go to Neihule for Blow Outs– they always do an amazing job no matter which stylist I get! And MUCH more reasonable price than the other salons in DTLA!

The best gel mani/​pedi in LA. The service is through the roof. The nail techs are competent and a pleasure to be around. Whitney is awesome. They have a ton of gel colors and are always getting new colors each time I’ve been. I also got a spray there. I got so many compliments. The spray tan was so natural and lasted an entire week. It was the perfect bronze/​golden brown color, no orange.

I followed Samira here because she’s been doing my brows pretty consistently for about a year or so.
I was seeing her at ULTA at their Benefit Brow Bar in WeHo which was super convenient for me, if I’m honest. In the past I’ve followed my brow person all the way to Manhattan Beach. Even though it’s once a month, I figure I’m definitely able to drive to Downtown LA if I was willing to go to Manhattan Beach.
Anyway, Samira is awesome, fun to chat with, and has a real eye for how brows should fit a face.
I wish I had more of an opinion of Neihule as a whole — I barely had a chance to look around. I look forward to going again, to get my brows down, and possibly for other services, too.
I was pleasantly surprised to receive a discount because it was my first time in the salon — it was 10% or 15% (it was a month ago and my memory sucks) — which doesn’t hurt!
The parking in the area is not that great, but I guess it’s all in the timing. That and I’m just not familiar with Downtown.

Just a regular ol’ salon but a pretty atmosphere.
Booked a deluxe pedicure but received a basic one and didn’t figure it out until check out when I asked what happened to the foot masque included in the deluxe. There was some confusion over what /​when I booked (which I did in-​person) and it felt rushed. Turns out my technician was waiting to leave. It was my bad for not realizing it while my pedicure was going on. Also, apparently they offer wine/​champagne and didn’t realize this until afterwards — I wasn’t offered any but it makes sense now that everyone else was sipping some. I felt like I missed out on the perks of paying extra $$ for a nice pedi.
If you want to pay a premium for a pampering pedi, go somewhere like Bliss.

I definitely had a great time with the women at Neihule. Made an appointment for mani and pedi, decided to get gel extensions and there was no problem adding it to my appointment — I even got a warning on the time it takes and their prediction was spot on.
Got to drink wine and watch the Wedding Date while I got some fierce nails for my birthday. Left feeling like a queen.

This is a pretty fantastic spot. I had a pedicure done here while in town for a conference.
I was able to easily schedule an appointment at the desk. Both times I visited the associate at the front desk was very friendly and she remembered my name on the second visit.
They have a wide variety of gel and non gel polishes. There is a good chance they will have your favorite brand (plenty of 5 free brands too). They offer coffee, tea, Coke, Diet Coke, red wine, white wine or champagne with your service. They also allow you to pick one of 6 secrets for lotion and scrubs.
My esthetician was very thorough in perfecting my nails and gave an excellent massage. I had laryngitis during my visit so we did not do much talking but she was still very pleasant.
Overall the prices are reasonable and the skill of the esthetician was excellent. I would definitely come here again.

I am a big fan of Neihule Nail Salon & Tanning. For last five or six years, I have been going to this fabulous shop for manicures and pedicures depending where I am. I have worked and lived in Downtown LA years back, and that is when I discovered the spot.
I’ve had one bad manicure experience here, but nothing so outrageous that I couldn’t overlook it. Most of the technicians are sharp with their skills. Service is consistent and the vibe is always pleasant.

I never do reviews but because of the work Renee de la tour did for me with my eyebrows I had to let everyone know she’s the best. She works with you to what you want and helps you get the best. I love my eyebrows and I get so many compliments from random people. I’ve tried different places dtla but yes they are cheaper but you get what you pay for. But no one can touch my eyebrows but Renee now
I also recently had to attend a wedding and I tried a spray tan to even out my arms and chest and she did an amazing job. Was worried because past spray tan I’ve tried came out orange and it looked awful, but she did such a good job and it looked so natural and faded off evenly and wasn’t blotchy.

I think they pay more attention to frills and atmosphere than to the actual quality of work.
The pedicure pods are pretty cool and come outfitted with an ipad. You also get a complimentary beverage that includes options of white or red wine and champagne. The place seems pretty sanitary — although I can’t speak for how vigorously they clean their machines, all the tools they used were fresh/​disposable and they squeeze out personal amounts of scrub and lotion for each customer. With that all being said, the pedi itself was just ok.
The color selection is really quite limited and my pedicurist did something that really annoyed me — I was wearing sandals and she put them on my feet BEFORE she started painting my toenails and didn’t use toe separators. The only reason I can see for doing something like that is that she didn’t want to have to bother with helping me remove the toe separators or helping me put on my sandals after about five minutes of drying time. So basically, I think she just did this to shorten the amount of time that she would have to pay to me. It was really annoying because the moisturizer on the bottoms of my feet didn’t really have time to dry and so I had to walk on very slippery sandals afterwards. Also, I had to be very careful about my toes since I didn’t have any toe separators.
Overall, the atmosphere and customer service in here is quite nice. With that being said, I do think they like to take shortcuts when they can and it’s kind of annoying. It won’t be a go-​to spot for me but I might come here again purely for convenience as it was an ok experience.
