When you think of Bootcamp you think of a bunch of fit guys racing around with 50 pound bags on their shoulders, climbing up ropes etc… Well at least that’s why I always avoided any class with Bootcamp in it’s title I just never thought it was something I could do, Until I was introduced to Nandor. A co-worker of mine kept raving about the class and after seeing the results on him I figured I would give it a shot and I’m so glad I did. His class is a nice mix of age, gender and athletic ability. And with all that to juggle Nandor manages to keep everyone well challenged. The class has great energy, which I think is a direct result of Nandor’s positive and motivating personality. I’ve been attending his class for over 6 months and no type of exercise(not cycling, weight lifting, hiking etc…) has ever made me loose inches and noticeably increase my strength as his class has done. I like that he mixes his exercise routines. It’s never boring and no class is ever the same. I was never the type to be a part of any exercise class. I liked to work out by myself, go to a gym and get in and out. Now I look forward to Bootcamp every week. Try it I promise you will not be disappointed.

I love Nandor’s Bootcamp. I’ve been taking his class for a little over a year now and I feel much stronger and leaner. I didn’t think I was going to take his class for a long time because when I first started, I wanted to get in shape for an upcoming photoshoot. I only had two months to get rid of my chubbiness and Nandor helped me with that. I was doing his bootcamp 2 – 3 times a week plus his nutritional counseling. Ok, I’m not the biggest running or fitness person, but Nandor lets you workout at your own pace. His class is for easy to extreme workout people and he doesn’t yell in your face(with the word bootcamp, I thought I was gonna have some drill instructor yelling at me and say, drop and give me twenty) but that didn’t ever happen. I felt real sexy on the day of my shoot because I had a semi six-pack happening and I was lean and toned. So I was happy because I felt and looked great for my shoot, my photographer was happy because he got some great shots and Nandor was happy because he helped me reach and exceed my goals.

This is not the type of review that claims you can lose 15 lbs in 15 days or whatnot. As much as I would love that, it’s just not quite how life works, at least not for me. I’ve trained with Nandor for almost 9 months now and absolutely love it. You have no idea how good trainers are hard to come by, until you come across all the other wannabes. Nandor is energetic and motivating, even at 6 am. He has the same energy level when it’s a group of 5, or a group of 20. The outdoor setting is a perfect way to start the day and he switches up the class so that it doesn’t get boring and routine, even after all these months. Since starting boot camp training, I’ve definitely felt stronger and more in-shape and my endurance has increased. The class utilizes the park to the fullest — whether it is distance running, sprints up and down hills, squats in the sand or push ups on your mat, every session is just slightly different. I feel like Nandor really cares about his students and helping them achieve their goals. And for a trainer, there really isn’t anything more you can ask for.

I was introduced to this by my lovely roommate. I had been getting SO lazy lately and really wanted a kick start back onto the healthy pathway. I’m just one of those people that needs extra motivation when I’m working out. Sure I can go for a run or head to the gym, but nobody’s going to know if I quit ten minutes earlier on the stairmaster or cut out an extra mile. At bootcamp, I feel awful if I’m not trying my best since our trainer(Nandor) is so motivating! This beats your monotonous ho-hum routine at the gym anyday! I always feel so great after I’m done — even though I am of course dying during the workouts. Nandor really keeps the group on their toes by constantly changing up our exercises and forcing us to try our best.
