Last week, we lost a true treasure: Jaime Escalante
He positively changed many many lives, not just at Garfield High, but also all over the world with the biographical film «Stand & Deliver» (that movie helped guide me and made me proud to be a nerd!).
So, if you’re ever near MacArthur Park in LA, you have to drop by and check out this work of art. This mural, titled «Los Angles Teachers», was painted by Hector Ponce in 1997.
