For sentimental reasons I already a fan: it was the first place where I had a drink with my loved one. The fact that we are divorced now does not even affect that experience, so both must have been good, I’d say. I still come back here for lunch. Service is good, the food is pretty consistent and tasty. They have a good wine-by-the-glass selection and a menu that makes me coming back. Recently I noticed the store has been updated; a completely new interior. Looks pretty good. Mr Marcel is the place to go for that special type of mustard, the spices I used when living in Africa, the bouillabaisse I bought when living in Europe and the biscuits every englishman would love with his afternoon tea. Not inexpensive, dare I say, but it’s worth it. Definitely a fan…

Good option for cheese, pâté and charcuterie at the farmers market. However the Whole Foods across the street is an option too.

I always come to this market when I go to Farmer’s Market. I do not know about fine wines and cheese, but the extensive array of food items from France is eye opening. Olives in barrels, dozens of spices and spice mixes, cheese, wine, crackers and soft drinks. I particularly like the selection of flavored mayos, mustards and vinegars. The staff are very friendly. The cheese shop has experts to help you find the right cheese for your occasion. When I eat at the Farmer’s Market, I buy French beverage here. It makes the dining experience unique, definitely tastes better than coke and sprite.
