I seriously never write reviews, but I want to give everyone a heads up on this doctor. He may be sweet and may have many years of experience, but he is clearly confused! I went to him because I thought I had a ring worm. All of my research online and talking to other folks(non-doctors) led me to believe that’s what I had. When I got to Dr. Morris, he said I had localized eczema. WTF!!! I have never had a history of eczema and many people in my family have it, so I am aware of what it looks like. Mind you, the irritation on my skin was perfectly red and circular and looked exactly like a ringworm. He gave me a prescription for eczema and after 2 weeks, I saw no improvement. In fact, the ringworm had spread to a new spot! I went to the drug store and bought over the counter ringworm meds and after 1 week the irritations(now that there were 2, annoying) had gone down. In retrospect I’m not sure why I even went to see him. I could have treated myself more effectively. I even pushed back when he said eczema because I thought it was a ridiculous diagnosis. He told me I had nothing to worry about and it would go away. Honestly, diagnosis of ringworm is dermatology 101. If he can’t get that right, I’m not sure you want to risk seeing him for other more serious skin issues. I’m super annoyed that he wasted my time and money.

I had the strangest experience with this doctor a few years ago, always felt I should say something to somebody but only now getting around to it… anyway, I went there for a minor skin irritation but whenever I asked him any questions about what it might be or what might have caused it, the doctor would just say things like, «Oh, you don’t have to worry about that.» Just completely dismissed any questions or concerns. Then afterward, when the receptionist was giving me some directions to use with a sample, I asked her if she could verify those directions because they were not the same as what the doctor had just told me. She and the other nurse/receptionist exchanged worried glances, and were very hesitant — as if they did not want to ask the doctor anything. It literally took them a minute to decide to go back to ask him a question. As if they were afraid of him. I could be wrong about that, but I’m not wrong about this: there was a very strange energy in that office, and I was very put off by the doctor’s casually dismissive manner.

I previously went to see a doctor for a skin blemish that I had developed and that doctor didn’t give me any clue as to what i might have. Fast forward and I went to Dr. Morris and he knew exactly my problem and eased my concerns. He gave me great information and began treatment on my skin problem. Now, i feel at ease and my skin blotch is slowly going away. Can wait to my follow up appointment in order to track my progress. I recommend!
