MLK Coin Laundry

Overpriced. Overcrowded. It’s no wonder the dry is free– the drying machines don’t dry well. I don’t remember how many times I had to put things back on the dryer on HIGH and my clothes were still partially wet. The washers smelled a bit musty almost as if they hadn’t been cleaned in a while. The parking lot is tiny and the washer machines were overpriced. Also, there are no single load machines here. :/

Hey Fellow Unilocalers! I was driving my this Laundromat on the way to another and decided to stop. I’ve been here since approximately 7 am and it’s 7:43am. I came in and took a look around before getting all my stuff out. The staff immediately greeted me and I noticed how clean the place was. Almost every customer said good morning with a smile. They have heavy duty washer and dryers along with outlets for charging phones. Would use this place again.

I love it here. First drying is FREE, They are open 24 hours, and it is soooo CLEAN. The washers don’t smell, and it’s a pretty decent size. It was not too crowded either. They also have a raffle, where you could possibly when a TV and $ 50. The attendant is very nice and attentive, she keeps the place clean and if you need help with anything she will help right away. They have a seating area, massage chairs, a few games for the kids, coffee machine, ice cream machine, and of course other vending machines with snacks in it. I will definitely be back.

I don’t know what more I can ask for from a coin laundry. The machines are clean there’s coffee and free dryers and it’s open 24 hours.

My elderly parents live across this place. I visit my parents to help with the laundry on the weekends.
As they have much linens and towels that need commercial style washer, I frequent coin laundries. I am truly excited that I have found a new, clean place to do all the laundry at such close proximity.
What I look for in coin laundries (these are elements that must be met):
(1) Cleanliness — This place is new and everything about it is new and clean. Love it.
(2) Cost — Free usage of Dryer. You can’t get cheaper than free.
(3) Location — On MLK blvd. Stand alone building, away from all the unnecessary traffic.
(4) On site staff — I hate it when I am at a coin laundry and there is no attendant to assist for whatever issues. This place seems to have an attendant at all times.
(5) Comfort — While I wait, I need a good place to sit and to snack and drink my beloved diet coke. They have picnic benches so I can lay out the chips and the sodas. They have awesome vending machines. Also multiple flat screen tvs to keep me occupied.
By far, the best set up of all coin laundries in the neighborhood. Go see for yourself.

NEW, fully remodeled from what was here before, VERY CLEAN, and well kept! They just opened exactly 1 month ago on April 26, 2015! Looks like it is owned by Koreans. A middle aged couple. Saw them blowing and hanging balloons for the place. I really like it here. I saw it on my way home from work everyday. I live in Echo Park but travel here so that I could do laundry here. By far the BEST!
They have a cleaning attendant who is here keeping the place tidy. I was only here Sunday so not sure what other days are like. It is across the street from Carlos Cleaners at Martin Luther King Jr Blvs and St. Andrews Pl.

There are 2, 3, 4, and 6 load size washing machines but i only used the 2 load aisle.
FREE DRYING but ONLY if you wash here! Don’t cheat! They will report you! They have cameras around so be good!
They have a restroom for patrons, ATM machine, cash/​coin exchange machines, vending machines for detergent, dry sheets, drinks and snacks.
Everything you need and free Wi-​Fi! So clean, I LOVE IT! I hope the customers keep the place in good shape and not trash it!
