ML Hair Studio

Attention to detail. That’s what Michael has. I never feel that he is rushing the cut or rushing me out of there. He has a private and clean studio which I prefer. Could be a little difficult to find at first because of the layout of the building. And I feel comfortable telling him what I like and don’t like. I am a control freak when it comes to having my haircut because I’ve had so many cuts by people that either don’t come out how I want or just don’t care. ML Hair studio is the first place to give me something different or something I truly want and love in about 10 years. He is kind and doesn’t jabber in your ear about his problems. He’s very professional and and tolerant. He tends to clarify what you want before starting which is comforting for me. I’ve been a returning customer ever since my first cut about a year ago. For me and what I look for in a hair styler, he is ideal.

I thought the end result-​the haircut was great. I wish he would have asked more questions about what I wanted it to look like, because it didn’t look exactly how I wanted it. The studio was a little odd since it was a tiny room, just you and the hairdresser. Wierd décor… There wasn’t a receptionist and I had to weezle my way to the room. I tried to calling him a million times, but he didn’t answer. He seemed very shy at first, but opened up during the session. Overall, a wierd experience, but the haircut was good. I got most of the split-​ends out of the way for the holidays at least.

I’ve been going to micheal for over 5 yrs and I’m never disappointed. I love the fact that he knows me so well, and gets me to try new looks that fit me to a T. His work is top notch and I won’t go to anyone else. He is definitely worth checking out.

Best hair cut I’ve ever recieved! Michael is the only person I will let cut my hair. Give him a try and you won’t regret it.

I have been a client of Michael’s for 3+ years now. I have gone to much more expensive stylists and Michael is just as good if not better than all of them. I recommend him to all of my friends and he has never let me down.

I moved to L.A. almost a year ago, and was loathe to spend $$$ on a haircut. Some coworkers recommended Micheal, and since their hair looked good, I thought I’d give him a try. I’m so glad I did! Even though his new salon is farther from my house, I’d follow him anywhere! My husband also gets his hair cut by Micheal, and he’s much more particular about stylists than I am. I appreciate that he always listens to my requests, but normally I just let him be creative. I always get compliments on my hair now, so I trust him to do his thing. Plus (and this is huge), his prices are very reasonable! Currently I don’t get my hair colored, but I’m thinking about doing something fun with it soon, and I’ll definitely see him for that as well. The girl who recommended him to me has gorgeous color, so I’m sure he’ll do a great job on my hair as well. One note: plan plenty of time for your visit. Micheal won’t let you leave until it’s perfect, so it may take a while.
