The office is the worst. I’ve been looking for a female doctor for sometime now and set an appointment 3 weeks in advance. I show up for my appointment and am informed that I cannot be seen because my primary care doctor needed to be changed over. I was not made aware of this prior to coming to my appointment. I then tried to switch the info over so that I could still be seen as I was having problems with my asthma and was told I could not by the doctor. Waste of time, and terrible front desk people for not stating that in the beginning. Now I have to scramble to get a walk in appointment elsewhere as I am already extremely sick.

This review is about the doctor only. I’m so sorry the other reviewer had problems with the staff, but the doctor is wonderful. Dr Karapetian is on staff with Barlow Respiratory Hospital. My sister is a patient there and very sick. Dr. Karapetian has served as her primary. He is very caring, answers his calls, and takes action. He is a hard worker and sometimes you wonder when these doctors who work for Barlow have time to sleep.
Since my sister is very sick I called Doctor’s office several times and left messages with the doctor about medical concerns and he does call a back. When my sister was at the hospital the doctor would visit her regularly and other times he’s even stop by at nights to check in on her, I know because I’m there with her because she was so sick. Doctor came at nights (apprx 7−9pm) and even at 1:20am. When I was overwrought with stress he talked to me and eye to eye I can tell he really cares about people. I think for some doctors it takes a very special kind of person to want to be a doctor because frankly they work very hard and long hours. When I would ask him about this or that medical issue regarding my sister he acts on it right away. I don’t think one can ask anymore from a doctor.
