A couple of experiences here: I bought two bicycles here three years ago, aluminum frame — one has been really good to me and the other has a problem where the crank bolt strips. Well, I don’t blame the guy, they’re MIC and the prices were pretty good considering all aluminum. The second was a flat fix and he took the time to add tape to prevent inner tube bulges at the spoke holes. Reasonable price. I sometimes pop my head in there to see what’s new and every time the guy’s very polite and professional. I’ll keep coming back because I know it’s a local mom-and-pop.

I’ve been to the bike shop a lot and everytime I go owner didn’t even greet he sits on a chair and watches TV with a shitty a attitude. Also rippeds people off with his extremely over priced bikes especially the«bmx» bikes.

A friend tried to tighten up my bike chain and managed to get my back wheel jammed lol. I got it fixed here in less than 5 minutes and it cost me $ 4. Super convenient, definitely recommend.

this spot is a bike shop gem. i walked in here to get my flat tires fixed and they busted repairs in less than 15 minutes. i got a little picky and asked if they’d loosen the chain a little more for me. they were friendly and willing the entire time — great service here! i’m a loyal customer, so i will definitely only return to Mendoza’s bike shop for any of my bike needs! check it out!

After being highly recommended this place by the guy I just bought my bike from(he was great by the way — perfect bike for my purposes and only $ 40!!) — I showed up expecting«the best prices». The guy totally screwed me. He sold me a kyptonite bike chain(level 3) for 25 bucks… I went to a bike store by USC(Lion’s Bike Shop) and they were selling a kyptonite level 4 bike chain for 25 bucks… So much for«the best prices.»
