Melt cosmetics is an L.A. local cosmetic company. The company was started by 2 beauties Lora and Dana who’ve had many years in the make-​up and entertainment industries. They envisioned these different fun, bold matte lipstick shade and delivered it to us. Yay!
My purchases so far includes the Dark Matter Eye Palletes, Blitz, Blow, Summer, Banes, Dark Room, Stupid Love, Belladonna 2, Bang Bang and Shady Lady lipsticks. I should have the whole collection by next month lol. Hopefully they restock the sold out colors because they go on Ebay for like more than 3x the price. =(They have a good but limited amount of products as they are working on more to come! I’m so excited to see what comes next! (^_​^)
I ordered the Dark Matter eye shadows to try out first since it was more neutral colors. The color are vibrant when you put on and stays pretty well. The lipsticks are indeed bold and matte but they do smear quite easily as well which is where I had to minus 1 star. Besides that the make up is really fun to play with and I get lots of compliments on the bold, matte color. (^_​^) Yes the color aren’t your average red or nude tones, although they do have red and nude, but that’s the fun part. I’ve always loved playing with colors since my raving and cosmetology days until now. Their line is like a dream come true lol.
On their website you are able to see their lookbooks, or instagram they show different way people use, play and mix their colors. Under their FAQs you can also find a list of MAC lip liners color that they suggest to help pair with your lipstick (s).Sweet!
Currently they are just sold online and not in stores yet, there is no pro discount or wholesale price at this time. They currently have 14 shades of lipsticks for $ 19 in which 4 are sold out. Please restock! (^_​^) While they have 2 collection of eyeshadow pallettes that is $ 48 in which Dark Matter is currently sold out (glad I snatched 1 before it did) and includes 4 colors on a magnetic stack that are decent sizes. Shipping is $ 7 with tracking.
