Absolutely one of the nicest, smart and best physicians I have seen in my life!
I wished she was my internist too… after seeing another physician, a poor listener and bossy persona female urologist elsewhere, I saw Dr. Mee who took care of me and in one day problem solved! Although I had seen her 20 years ago, she saw me as a new patient, we spoke first in her office, very dignified and appealing to do so. She listened well, moved to the next steps and resolved my issues. So pleased I almost cried!
Thanks to such a great physician. All of them should be like her and I am in the healthcare business myself. And to boot, she gave me a hug at the end! So sweet…

I cannot review this doctor, as I never got a chance to get that far. Trying to schedule a consultation was a headache. After spending twenty minutes with a babbling receptionist while she figured out which questions to ask me, I just got put on hold for another ten minutes! Finally, when someone came back to the phone, the first thing they asked about was my insurance coverage and not my symptoms or reason for needing an appointment! After I said I have no insurance and would be a cash patient, I was informed consults start at $ 300, and was told no arrangements can be made to make this easier for me financially. I know to some that may be a reasonable amount, but when you already live check to check, you would think they could come up with someway of working with their potential patients… its the urologist for goodness sakes, not the jewelry store… trust me, I would not be calling if I didnt REALLY need to go there!

No body likes to go to the doctor, even more so, the urologist! I for one have horror stories from when I was a child and into adulthood. However there is light at the end of the tunnel, and her name is Dr. Sharron Mee.
There are very few female urologists in this country and I’m so greatful I’ve found her. You here from women how many do not like going to a male OB/​GYN and prefer a woman, well, I’ve been to several male urologists and feel the same way about being ruffed up, ignored and dismissed until I met her.
Dr. Mee made me immediately feel comfortable talking to her and taking care of my health over a period of time. She spoke with me, like we were old friends and helped me get through some difficult times in my life that required several major surgeries. I can’t say enough about her except for all you guys and gals (yes, bro’s listen up) will instantly feel comfortable with talking to her about things that rarely get spoken about.
I’ve sent several male friends of mine to her and they have said nothing but wonderful things and can’t thank me enough for getting them to someone to help them out when otherwise they would’ve just suffered through it…
