I’ve been coming here for a good 20yrs. So disappointed at their lack of ability to give a total on your food. Today is the 3rd time I’ve come in and they give me an incorrect total. Adding up to $ 10 more than what my bill should actually be. Then they get offended. I come here often enough where 5 – 10 bucks EVERYTIME becomes abusive. So then they want to tax you for extra ice in your cup & the avocado you DIDNT ask for lol. Just say you added wrong! I can’t imagine I may have overpaid every time I’ve been here.

Update: mojarra was ok. A little to pricey for the little food they gave .

Never again!!! This place has really gone down. I don’t know what happened, it use to be so good. I Ordered a tostada de javia «prepared» and it wasn’t even cold!!! The veggies were set on the side. absolutely no flavor. Shrimp cocktail same thing no flavor the juice it self also warm. I returned my javia and told them it wasn’t cold and if they had cold javia. She just said umm and took my plate away and said sorry. Definitely last time. So sad and disappointing.

i visited this spot with my husband i can honestly say best place ever even better than puerto escondido… this place made me fall in love with something i hate eating… the food is so fresh is not fishy very clean and you get alot of food for what you pay for i looooooooove it

Very bad place… Food with no flavor.
I ordered a shrimp coctel because in the picture it looked so delicious… and got my coctel very different from the picture. We ordered some more food and I tried to cancel the order but the lady said «I can’t give you your money back because you paid by debit card» So We left the place… besides, the same person is getting the money, cutting lemon and the avocados.

How could this location do this to me? I was expecting the same ceviche or at least very similar to the Santa Fe Manzanillo. Man this ceviche de Camaron has old lime/​lemon juice in it. Extremely bitter. Not sour… old. make you sick bitter. On top of that my to go cup was filled with mostly liquid and mushed up tomato… did I just get the bottom of the bowl? Way to rip me off and ruin my ceviche craving on this rainy day.

Wow ! I just called to ask if they served micheladas and the lady who answered the phone hung up on me. I called again and asked again and she said hold on and as she was handing the phone to someone else she straight up said «toma ayuda a esta vieja que todavia esta dormida!» Meaning «here help this bitc* she’s still asleep!» I then spoke to a man and said, did this lady just tell me this. And he said oh no she said to help you because you were half asleep I said why is she even saying that. And he started to «explain» and I just hung up. Wow. It’s not my fault she works on New Year’s Day. And I have never even gone here but if that’s how they treat customers I’m very glad all 10 of us that WERE going to go spend money there are NOT going to go. I would have left no stars but I couldn’t post without one.

I visited this place on Christmas Day since every other place was closed. I ordered a campechana and the ingredients did not taste fresh at all. It had a weird ketchup flavor that was unpleasant … I will never come back here.

Only came here since the other one was closed today. Food was the same, never coming back again. The cashier thought my bf was drunk and they charged him and later charged his friend for the same check. When they told her, she was not surprised or apologetic instead upset that they noticed. Bad customer service! It doesn’t compare to The other one a block a way.
The other one has people at the cashier who go above and beyond to make you come back.

I came here based on the Unilocal reviews. I FELL IN LOVE WITH THIS PLACE! The service and food was excellent. They make you feel like family here. I’ll be back for sure.

I’m came across this place a few years ago and since then I’ve been coming back! My favorite dishes are the fish tacos and shrimp ceviche. I love that they are very generous with their portions. tostadas and avocado! The staff is very friendly, they aim to please. The place could use a couple of updates when it comes to the seating and if possible more parking. Other than that it’s great place to come year round with friends and family and enjoy some great seafood!

The first time we attended last month the service was amazing! Nothing to complain about. The service was great. The food super yummy. We even contracted the banda for 1 hour to play for us.
We just attended a second time this Sunday. One of the cashiers taking the orders was not so nice. I ordered 2 kid shrimp cocktails. I noticed the containers were different from last time. I asked if the gentleman could give me the other containers. He said no… I offered to pay for the other containers. He continued to say no. After I asked a third time he ended up giving me the other containers without charging me but was very RUDE while handing them over.
Now that I think about it the AGUACHILES are not that good at all. I asked if they have them in a green sauce… The owner said no. Over all will set aside the fact that my second time was not so good but the first time was amazing. I will over all give them a 3 star review.

I was introduced to this place by my hubby when we first started dating its just down the block from the suegros house so he took me there once boy oh boy was it good! I got the campechana and it was humongous and very flavorful. I’ve also tried the ceviches and fish taco, even tho my fish taco was kind of soggy the batter was full of flavor! I would like to give the shrimp taco a try next time we go.
They have live banda there on the weekends and for it to be a spot that’s kind of hidden it gets packed!
One thing is that the owner can come off a little rude with some people but they don’t seem to mind.
They are very generous with their portions and what ever you ask for he’ll give it to you.
This is definetly a spot worth trying

The best sea food in the world bar none. I remember this spot since it only was a catering truck. This was in the late 80’s. And it has only gotten better. They now have restaurants and trucks. They have a two story one that is aways empty upstairs and u have the whole place for urself or with all ur friends. U will have to do ur home work to find this one. As i enjoy the peacefulness and quietness of it. The prices are super fare and the portions are more than satisfing. Ur 6 dollar mixta will make about four tostadas and they do not charge for extra tostadas, avacados, limes ect. They prepare ur food to ur taste if u prefer. As long as u are respectful. Enjoy.
