Marina 7 Motel

Overall great value. Good location if you want to go to Venice Beach. Room has cable TV, mini fridge, microwave, free parking spot, free WiFi, free coffee and tea in lobby in the morning, and friendly employees. Now for the negatives, there are some residents at this motel and it is uncertain how seedy it is due to them being here. The second night of our stay we had to leave the TV on so we didn’t hear our next door neighbor talking loudly. The room had dents in the wall, lots of dust where the floor met the walls, some outlets did not work, so if you’re concerned with the looks of the place you stay, this isn’t the place for you, but if you can look past that, $ 112 a night is worth it to be so close to the beach. Picky travelers be warned and budget travelers rejoice

Good location in Venice, free parking, and cheap. Unfortunately, it’s also a shithole. Mold all over in the bathroom, cigarettes in the sink drain, refrigerator that leaks on the floor, noisy AC, low-​flow shower head, worn out toilet seat, stained up carpet, old bedding, trash all over the landings outside, inconsistent cleaning times, thin walls, spotty Wifi, door bent to where light comes in at the top and bottom as if it was kicked, and a general disregard for maintenance of the facilities. I was pretty disappointed in the place, to be honest. If I hadn’t been on a solo trip I definitely would’ve paid for a nicer place.

Stay away!!! Spend the extra $ 50 for a MUCH Better experience. Lots of maintenance needed here and it’s all half assed. Take a look at the pictures, I’m sure they will speak for themselves.
