Our company Mystic Self (
) which will soon launch and sell semi-​precious stone jewelry and accessories such as handbags and shawls from India employed the services of Merika Rock (with the company name of M. Rock Style) as our fashion model photographer. I think everyone runs into a dream service provider that they always remember and Merika turned out be a dream come true for us. With Merika, I didn’t just get a photographer, but a top caliber artist who is at the top of her profession. She was able to follow any suggestions that I made and capable of coming up with her own brilliant photo shoot idea when I had no clue as to what to do.
Despite her extremely busy schedule (she is the official producer/​videographer/​editor for Maria Menounos’ AfterBuzz TV’s Red Carpet Interviews backstage at ABC’s hit show, Dancing With The Stars), Merika was promptly available to answer any questions which made me believe that she operated on a ²⁴⁄₇ schedule. Whether it was text, email, or phone, she was not only quick to respond, but able to address all questions with the kind of ability and clarity which makes one realize that they are dealing with an exceptional professional.
It is also important to point out that in addition to photography, Merika also offers her services in selecting fashion styles, makeup and wardrobe. Further, she communicates with, preps, and gets to know the fashion model well in advance of the photo session. The discretion and selection that Merika exercised in her makeup and wardrobe choices were incredible.
When she finally delivered her photographs to us, I was «amazed» for lack of a better term. The beauty of the images reflected Merika’s creativity and vision as a photographer which included all the hard work that she put into preparing for the photo shoot. And the fact that she did this for a reasonable price package results in further disbelief. I can only conclude by asking, Merika how can I ever thank you!

Love working with Merika she makes you feel comfortable and she’s knows her way around the camera and make up. She also supports the starving artist with her great prices. She makes modeling extremely easy and get you your photos fast!

Merika is a great professional and super sweet person :) She is very professional and helpful, gives you tons of advice on outfit, hairstyle and accessory before the shoot and directs you during the process. Merika is the real deal and everything in one package. As a fashion model I’ve worked with so many photographers and make up artists all over the world, so my standards are pretty high. She’s an extremely skilled make up artist that pays great attention to detail and when it comes to photography she has a very clear vision of what she wants to capture. Due to her background as a stylist she has a keen eye for detail when shooting. Aside from that she’s a super nice, easy going person with a very warm, good vibe. I really enjoyed working with her.

Merika will meet with you first to get to know you and let her get to know you as well as make you feel more comfortable with her. My overall experience with Merika was wonderful! She not only does the photography, but she also does the makeup. Merika took her time with the makeup and paid great attention to detail so that it would be perfect for the shoot. She created a chill environment, which made the shoot super relaxing. She also was very thorough and prepared for the session by meeting beforehand. Merika shared concepts in advance and gave great direction so that the shoot itself was not painfully long or exhausting. I received my raw photos and an edited photo the next day. Best of all, Merika was sweet and easy to work with! I look forward to shooting with her again.
