Mediocre at best. I ordered breakfast for delivery. The breakfast sandwich on baquette was a soft roll, the chocolate and banana pancake drizzled with chocolate was dry, barely chocolatey and very much undrizzled. A disappointing and bland meal.

1st time here… had the huevos rancheros and they were ok, but of course this is not a Mex place so it’s all good… However my wife had the Lox and poached eggs and that was amazing… I would of gave it a 4 but the bathroom were nasty dirty and that’s not ok! Fair prices and good portions…

Overpriced for poor quality… We ordered delivery for a work lunch… The steak salad had one small 2 inch bite sized piece of steak w/soggy lettuce. Caprese sandwich had stale hard bread w/barely any basil when extra basil was requested. Everyone else’s food was just mediocre. Not to mention they charged a $ 10 delivery fee to walk half a block. First and last time ordering/eating here.

Food is okay but the serving for the price… I feel ripped off. Also, the leaves were all wilted because they placed the hot chicken and goat cheese on top and closed the lid. Not ordering this again. Not enjoying my food right now

I love this place! I never have to worry about the quality changing or getting a bad coffee or entrée. Thanks for being my go to, Lulu!

The food is pretty decent; they have a great selection of options for both breakfast and lunch, but taste-wise it’s not outstanding. I had Michael’s sandwich(egg, bacon, and cheddar on a French baguette). It was competent, but bland; the home fries were great, though. The real issue was the service, which was friendly but reaaaaaalllllllly slow. There were only two servers for a full restaurant, and it just wasn’t enough. It took fifteen minutes for somebody to come over and take our order, and we didn’t get our drinks until after we got our main courses. Again, they’re perfectly friendly and it’s not like they screwed up our order, but it was glacially slow.

There is one thing I love more then anything and that is a great breakfast/brunch place. We found Lulu’s café on accident while furniture shopping, great location, great outside area sitting and friendly staff. I love to be able to have healthy choices and they have a menu that allows you to switch between egg and egg whites, potatoes and fruit, etc. This made things easier for me since I am on weight watchers. Perhaps one of my favorite things about the place was, the«Lulu’s flies». These are a group of determined flies that love to frequent your food and make your dining experience a bit more difficult, if you are sitting outside. Now, this is not a reflection of a bad restaurant, it’s simply due to sitting outside and their fans not working. But they were so persistent that I decided to adapt them to my every day vocabulary. Feel free to use it as you please… When you are out with a group of friends and you are trying to get that one random hot ass guy at the club, but your friend keeps cock blocking you and not leaving you alone to do your business, you simply turn to him, glare and say, «you are being suck a fucking lulu fly!» Thank you. May be back. :)

As others said the food taste average at best. On a slow weekday, service was just ok. I couldn’t understand why a busser did all the jobs that a server was supposed to do. There were only 4 tables. Not only the food and service is poor, the outdoor seating area is infested with flies. We thought it was just the specific table we were seating but after we moved to the other table that was far from the first one, we realized that it’s just the issue in the whole patio section. I’m not talking about a couple. It was a constant flies invasion, at some point I really lost appetite and had to leave. Didn’t even wanna bother packing the rest of the food to go. What a waste of money that was.

Breakfast served by Veronica & Max cannot be beat. I used to hate this place but they’ve clean d up their act and the food is fresh and tasty. Try the house scramble with extragiat cheese. The blueberry pancake is awesome. Order a latte not the coffee and you won’t be disappointed.

This place is the best for breakfast and brunch. But don’t throw in the towel just yet. This place has excellent lunch menu and they offer great pasta places. I gave it full stars because the menu is great and service is quick and friendly.

LuLu’s is a great place to grab a bite to eat and catch up with old friends! The outdoor seating is perfect for a sunny LA afternoon. Our waitress was very attentive and gave us a full walk through of what was good on the menu without us even asking. She came by multiple times to check if we needed anything else. I ordered the ½ sandwich + soup + choice of side combo. I chose the chicken salad sandwich with tortilla soup and cup of fruit. The tortilla soup was Yummm but you have to eat it kind of quick if you want the tortilla chips to still be crunchy. The chicken salad sandwich was packed! With every bite, you get a bit of juicy chicken salad goodness. My favorite part was the cup of fruit. Had a great variety: pineapple, grapes, strawberries, watermelon, and cantaloupe. Would definitely comeback.

I remember always driving by this place, particularly everytime I go to grove. The patio is practically full of people during brunch/lunch hours and I’ve always wanted to try it. I mean who isnt a fan of a delightful brunch with good vibes? Getting right into the review, we ordered the Caprese, House Benedict, & Lulus salad: CAPRESE– to be honest, you cant go wrong with fresh mozzarella with a fresh slice of tomato, topped with a drizzle of balsamic vinegar. The balsamic was very skimpy but they do give you a side of extra balsamic vinegar so everything was A Okay~ HOUSEBENEDICT– I got the house bendict with a side of sweet potato fries & honestly didn’t prefer this one because I’m a fan of simple and flavorful benedicts. While this one was surely flavorful, there were just so many ingredients in it that it was quite messy and fell apart easily. However, I loved how they gave a lot of hollandaise sauce on top of the eggs. Many places seem to barely put a teaspoon amount on their benedicts. LULUSSALAD– The salad was really good! With saffron rice, big chunks of chicken breast, & with the perfect amount of dressing, it was a great entrée for a warm day. The portion is not so small either. Great for ordering couple dishes and sharing with others. SERVICE– our waitress was very friendly and gave us many options that are popular on their menu(of course we had to ask because it was our first time~) although after she said she’d give us some time to look over the menu, she gave us too much time… but it wasn’t anything to bitch about. Shortly after we ordered, all of our entrées were coming out, & she brought out 2 slices of french toast with fresh strawberry on them. Telling us that it’s on the house because it’s our first time there! Oh my goodness. The french toast was amazing! So fluffy and thick, it was perfect! The next time I go back I’m definitely getting the french toast! P. s.- there is a small parking lot in the back, but it is very limited. Probably will need to find street parking during busy hours.

I absolutely love this place. My boyfriend and I come here on our days off. We take the bus so we always rush in the mornings to make it to their 8.95 any breakfast until 11am! I always order one of the benedicts because their hollandaise is really good. I just took my family here this past weekend who was visiting from cleveland. They were raving! Orange juice is a little overpriced though. But that’s no deal breaker!

How many times have you been in a restaurant and it just isn’t what you wished it was? Well, this place is EVERYTHING you wished restaurants could be! To not have one solitary complaint is not my norm but this place does NOT disappoint in any way! Upon entering we were invited to sit where we wanted. Lovely, quaint ambience. The menu is exactly the right size. Breakfast all day long, a wide assortment of sandwiches, wraps, salads and entrees but not so overwhelming that you can’t decide. Kate was our server and she was so informative and helpful as we navigated through the menu to make our selections. THEFOODISTHEBOMB!!! I wil go into more detail later. But order ANYTHING!

Came here for my birthday breakfast the other day. It was raining, but we grabbed some seats outside because the eating area is a) covered and b) has heating lamps! Yay! Seated right away, which is always a perk. The guy who sat us was incredibly rude. There was a slight language barrier, but he was so curt and seemed genuinely annoyed that the restaurant had customers. I ordered coffee right away, but my boyfriend needed a second to look at the menu. The guy stamped his foot. LIKE A CHILD. I was seriously relieved when our server arrived, but she was merely efficient, not personable. Ordered the house scramble because sun-dried tomatoes sounded amazeballs. Boy got the french toast. The french toast looks amazing – thick slices of challah bread, just the right amount of powdered sugar – but needs maple syrup to bring out the flavor. It’s not sweet on its own. My scramble was just alright; needed salt and pepper to bring out the veggies. The potatoes were overcooked, so those were left abandoned. I got one refill of coffee in the hour we were there, and only because I asked. +breakfast specials Monday-Friday before 11AM. +covered, heated outdoor seating +tasty coffee w/generous cream and sweetener –no parking(and everything is fucking permit parking here) –mediocre to rude service –food was decent, but that’s it Oh well.

What’s not to love about this place. I have been coming here for years. I never once had a bad experience. The service is outstanding with outstanding food. You have an outstanding menu from excellent break to lunch. With an outstanding vegetarian menu to assorted meat dishes. The place has great indoor seating and outdoor seating. The minute you seat down somebody will come ask what you like to drink. The location is minutes away from the grove. You have street parking and limited parking behind the restaurant. If you are a person who enjoy having late breakfast you will enjoy this place. When it comes to lunch dishes I highly recommend the turkey meatloaf. The traditional house salad with chicken is outstanding. Whenever you order from the main dishes it comes with two side orders. You will always find nice people. The positive the pet friendly. As you see a lot of people bringing their dogs. No matter what you order you will be very pleased with the outcome.

Found this place while driving around, and BOY am I glad I stopped by! This isn’t your fancy, smancy, EXPENSIVE breakfast joint. Their food is classic and just like mom cooked it! I love the ambiance because you can feel comfortable while dining in. The food speaks for itself, and the prices are super super reasonable. How do they even make money? Breakfast Combo($ 10.95) It comes with eggs(and A LOT of it), French Toast or pancakes, toast, and fruit or potatoes. Huge portions. Great tasting food. I loved it. It’s a little far from home, but it’s definitely worth the drive. The service is also amazing. The server checked up on us regularly to make sure everything was okay. I wouldn’t say this is a hole-in-the-wall, but there’s nothing fancy about this place at all; just great food with awesome service. #winning
