Really good food and sooo cheap. I’ll definitely be back. I really liked the bean/cheese and squash/cheese. I wasn’t a huge fan of the pork one but the others were delicious.

Hidden gem. Great pupusas not many salvadorian restaurants in this area. I have a cheese pupusa. It was great with the Curtido, the serve it with purple cabagge taste the same just the Curtido juice has color to it. No taste difference. Also had the plantains with cream and black and beans that beans were so tasty. The whole plate went well. At work we’ve had good catered to us big orders everything was really good.

I cannot express how much I adore this place. My partner and I are regulars– we prefer Los Cocos over any fancy westside restaurant. The pupusas are amazing, as are the platanos and the different breads. Plus, the owners/workers are very friendly.

My favorite place in LA to get pupusas! My go-to is an order of 2 bean and cheese pupusas. Their beans are full of flavor and the masa always tastes so fresh. The parking lot out front is kind of small, but you’ll typically be able to find a spot. If not, there’s ample street parking in the neighborhood. My ONLY complaint is that I wish they were open later, because I want these delicious pupusas all the time!

Amazing pupusas! So simple and delicious. Fresh masa and great ingredients. It’s small and bare bones inside but it feels right. Everything about this place is spot on. Delicious!

Aww man, what can I say? Pupusas! Do I really need to say more? OK, ok… Yes, they serve pupusas here and they are pretty darn good. The restaurant itself is kind of one of those hole in the wall café type places, but so what… the food makes up for it. The service was«ok» as well, but again, the food makes up for that as well. I will go out of my way whenever I’m on the west side to get me some of this goodness.

It was really good. Most of the employees don’t speak English so that was a little difficult at first but once we got the food and the order was correct we were good to go. I love the cabbage and salsa because they aren’t too spicy. The plantains with the cream and beans are outstanding. We ended up getting 4 papusas and the plantains to go too(they were that good). I recommend the spinach and cheese one along with the refried bean and cheese one. It was yummy.

Hole in the wall joint putting out great Salvadorian food. These are my kind of spots. I had the chicken tamale, which was good. It had a large hunk of chicken, although i prefer mine shredded. I also had two Papusas the pork and cheese and the revueltas. Both were very good, especially with the crudito. I only wished they had more options of fillings, especially more meat options. Maybe a pork and loroco, or something with jalapenos. Time to think outside the box. Maybe I’m onto something with this idea, Nouveux Papusas.

This is my favorite place to get pupusas! I first came here after reading about it in LA Weekly. They rated this the #1 spot in LA to get pupusas. The man who works here is so friendly and nice, and the pupusas are delicious. I am vegetarian and there are lots of vegan options(you can add cheese to any of them for free if you’re vegetarian but not vegan). After ordering at the counter, they bring them to you piping hot at your table with two types of curtido. I don’t know how these can be only $ 2.25 each(on the westside?!) Today I got guava cake for dessert($ 1.50). I love this place!

I love this place. Just blocks away from my house, the pupusas are made to order. Always taste fresh and delicious! ! I’ve tried the revueltas and calabaza y queso2(zucchini n cheese) they are bomb! I’ve bought from here about 5 times and will keep buying. Plus the man is always friendly and they’re sweet bread is good too!

The pupusas were amazing, very fresh and homemade taste. I would definitely come back. It’s a small hole in the wall place but the food and prices were great! Highly recommend! Great service too!

I’m in love with Los Cocos… lol. Los Cocos Panaderia y Pupuseria is a great little neighborhood spot to get authentic pupusas and Salvadoran bakery items! Being Salvi I definitely am a harsh critic when it comes to pupusas and these really were on point! I usually get the chicharron y queso or just plain cheese. They are decent sized with a good amount of filling. Not quite like grandma’s, but a close second! The only reason I’m giving them 4⁄5 stars is because they close at 7pm. I don’t get out of work until 6:30 most days, so it’s sometimes impossible for me to make it there before they close, but when I do, I’m a happy camper!

My first time trying pupusas. We tried squash, spinach, pork, and bean. All very good, especially the pork. We also tried the chicken tamales, they were different compared to others I’ve tried. Inside was a spinach and potato. It was good. I dont like potato but daughter loved it. One of the tamales had a random green un-pitted olive in it. The have a great selection of desserts. Pastries, empanadas, guava, leche, pineapple, eclairs, cakes. It was all okay. Service was great, very helpful and friendly.

Came here due to the high reviews but this is exactly«Meh. I’ve experienced better.» Bought some pupusas to go(bean and cheese) and these were not good enough to warrant a second visit. I don’t think there are many other pupusa places in this part of town so maybe that is why it gets high reviews. They were not omg these suck I am going to throw them away but they lacked flavor in my opinion. Felt they were plain. Small parking lot as well.

First time trying El Salvadorian cuisine. The menu can be a bit overwhelming but you get the hang of it if you stare long enough. This is definitely more of a takeout place, but if you’re inclined there’s a few fold-up tables to use. Started things off with the chili rellenos(breakfast). Not my favorite dish and spendy at $ 6.10. Next up was the pork and cheese pupusa. Like the best quesadilla you’ve ever had. Very good especially for $ 2. The pork and bean pupusa was okay, preferred the pork and cheese by far. Got a few of the desserts as well: éclair, guava empanada(?), the bread pudding thing, and Napoleon looking thing. Seriously half of these weren’t labeled. Desserts/pastries were all disappointing and I’d recommend you pass. Come for the pupusas(specifically the pork and cheese!), not the pastries.

At first sight, it’s not appealing. But pass that entrance door, you will find the most humble feeling, at least that’s what my boyfriend and I felt. There is a huge display of Salvadorian pastries. The Pupusas menu is on the wall. I always go for the non cheese Pupusas, but yesterday i was risky and so was my boyfriend. Let me just say, that when they brought our food, we had the option of spicy or non spicy curtido. That totally blew our mind. Second, the pupusas were huge and looked homey, like the one your Tia, abuelita, Mom makes. I took a piece of the Revuelta from my boyfriend’s plate and I wanted more! For me to say that, it’s a big compliment to the pupusa chef :) It felt like we were at our parents house. You really have to get there early for a good pastry or else they will be stale. Over all, I had a great experience and we will be coming back!
