I found Loni under the bizarre circumstance that I was trapped at my boyfriend’s apartment with no car, and that I was suffering from a raging viral upper respiratory infection that clogged up one ear so badly I couldn’t hear out of it. I had my boyfriend (who was at work at the time) call around to acupuncturists within walking distance of his apartment, and Loni squeezed me in the same day. It’s tough meeting a new doctor for the first time when you’re very sick, and Loni handled it beautifully. She was very gentle in her approach and she wasn’t afraid to attack my ailment aggressively. Within two treatments I had improved drastically, and now I visit her every month to for treatment to keep my immune system strong. Even if I’m stopping by just to pick up some herbal supplements, she always has a minute to ask me how I’m doing. I feel that she truly cares about my health. She also knows that acupuncture treatments can be expensive, so she doesn’t ask me to come in for a visit unless she feels I really need it. I’ve been a patient of hers for only two months but I plan to be a patient of hers for a long time.
