If you’re a fan of animé or manga, this play is perfect! The shops are cute and the restaurants have amazing food! Also you shuld do some exploring because theres more places to see that are a little bit hidden! Only thing is parking might be a pain to find but otherwise, this place is amazing!

I love this place. It’s become one of my regular spots. I love to go eat Ramen noodle, sushi, the shop at the Japanese cosmetic stores, stop by Ice Cream lab, and finish it up at the sweet bean pie store. Love Love Love LT!

Wonderful place to get away from LA although you are in the heart of LA! Nice restaurants and shops in a street aligned with authentic look Japanese style structure/buildings. Best to go during the weekends for the action. But if crowds aren’t your thing, afternoons are best.

I get dragged here semi-regularly by my teenage daughter. I tried to love this place, but no, it is not really happening. The shops don’t do it for me at all(and I love Japanese stuff and Asian stuff, lived in Hawaii for 14 yrs etc) and even the cafes/restaurants are not that alluring. The best part is people watching and for that it gets 3 stars. And the architecture and the cute feel of the place. Parking is pain, so just give up and pay $$ for those parking lots.

This little mall is the most centralized part of Little Tokyo. There are lots of shops, restaurants, and specialty shops to chose from and go to as well as many other local favorites adjacent to the mall. Saturday is the best time to go especially in the evening when they have open mike Karaōke. It’s lots of fun. All sorts of people sing from the worse voice to no voice to the best you hadn’t heard in a while. Its just fun. People are friendly and it has a good family vibe.

+ Plenty of store/restaurant choices + Great to sit and relax/people watch + Great place for snacks(bakeries, ice cream, macarons, etc) — Parking is tough if you are driving here I’m fortunate this place is within walking distance from my office. It is a great place for a lunch break, or just some walking around during work downtime. It is usually decorated pretty nicely and there are always a lot of people walking around. Sometimes when there are conventions in the area, it is fun to people watch when folks are dressed up in various animé/costumes. There are plenty of places to eat here(more food than shopping). I’m a fan of the inexpensive revolving sushi place right at the entrance on the 2nd street side. It is ~$ 2.25 per plate. There is ice cream/mochi in the center area and a couple of nice bakeries.

Unilocal365CHALLENGE2014−(117÷365) «We So Need One of These!!!» This is soooo something we lack in Vegas. I so wish we had a Little Tokyo! Yeah, we got Japanese shops and restaurants, but they’re all scattered around town. I like the fact that you could go shopping for clothes, look for a gift for a friend, or even yourself and practically have breakfast, lunch, and dinner here! My favorite stops here so far have been that animé/toy shop, and of course the food choices-Mikawaya, Lette Macarons, and Frances Bakery. Cannot wait until my next LA visit to do more exploring around Little Tokyo. ALOHA!!! Shaka Meter: \uuu/\uuu/\uuu/\uuu/4

A very cute small area for browsing & enjoying the outdoor weather. I love how it provides you access to asian merchandises that you would have to order online. I can’t wait to come back!
