Little Star Family Day Care

I recommend this daycare to anyone and everyone. It’s like finding a good dentist or hair stylist… once you’ve found them, you’ll travel long distances just to go to that one!
My daughter started going to Vindya’s daycare (Little Star Family Day Care) when she was 9 months old. It’s a beautiful, clean, intimate facility that you can tell is kept with love and care. My daughter had other children her age to play with, as well as a plethora of toys and books at her disposal. We trust and admire Vindya so much that when my son was born, we were able to arrange our daughter to stay at her house. (And we came at midnight!!) Vindya also feeds the kids nutritious homemade meals. My son, who also attended when he was 6 months to 2 years old, loved the oatmeal Vindya would feed him for breakfast. We had his 2^nd birthday party at Vindya’s. Before he had turned 2, she had been sitting with him and teaching him to hold a pencil and trace letters. We love how attentive Vindya is with the kids; she’s firm, but never disrespectful and very consistent as far as discipline. She teaches the children basic manners and does some academics (reading/​writing/​math), and allows them to play and be kids. I felt like my kids were safe with her from drop off in the morning (6am) til pick up (6pm). I never had to use it when I was there, but I think she offers pick up service from school, also.
