Lisa’s Belle de Jour Beaute

I adore Lisa! I’ve been aesthetician-​hopping for years now, and I found Lisa through groupon, and I now go to her every month. She works in her home, but you wouldn’t even be able to tell because of the layout; you aren’t walking into some messy home operation. Her place looks like a gorgeous homey office that instantly makes you feel comfortable the minute you walk in, and her treatment room is LEGIT. She has all of the tools and technology to help you get the results that you need, and she’s amazing at what she does. Lisa’s own skin is flawless!
VIBE: Her place is neat and clean, but has a fun vibe going on. You can completely feel relaxed and at home in this environment, especially because Lisa herself is such a fun and lovely person! You’ll most likely meet Lisa’s friendly and adorable yorkie and cat, who both just add to the great experience.
SERVICE: Lisa is amazing. Amazing amazing amazing. She herself is such a gem, and one of the nicest and honest aestheticians I have met; several times already when I didn’t know there was a «special» going on, she simply just charged me at the «Specials» price, which I have appreciated so much because she could’ve charged me at full price and I would’ve been none the wiser. She also doesn’t product-​push or make you feel guilty, both of which I can’t stand.
TREATMENT: So far, I’ve gotten maintenance facials and a peel. Both types of treatments have been great, and I want to try the other types of facials and peels she offers. Lisa is thorough with her cleansing and extractions, which is a huge reason why I keep coming back (that and her wonderful personality). I have large pores that accumulate some dirt in them, but they never really develop into blatantly large white heads or black heads. All of my previous aestheticians would just say that I had great skin – because I didn’t have any giant white heads or black heads – and end up not doing any extractions, leaving me with my still congested and dull skin. Lisa though, ACTUALLY clears out my pores! And when my pores are actually all cleared out, my skin looks amazingly bright. THANK YOU LISA.
All in all, I believe that Lisa is an amazing aesthetician and person. She doesn’t ask for Unilocal reviews or to buy products from her; I’ve had other aestheticians do that before and it’s always such an awkward experience. Don’t be afraid to ask for her opinion on facial treatments and aftercare, because she loves sharing her knowledge!

I have a been a client for over 3 months, and LOVE LOVE LOVE, the owner Lisa. She has always been extremely helpful in educating me about the best treatments and products. I never feel like I was being pushed to purchased or feel obligated. Her spa is ALWAYS SUPER CLEAN and FUN (Paris chic !!) I have a seen a few different places over the years, but Lisa is so professional, knowledgeable and welcoming.

I love Lisa she is great at what she does and works out of a room from her apt. The place is girly and you feel right at home. She offers everything from facial, chemical peels and for starters she has a cellusleek machine which in my opinion is a step up from all the other cellulite removal machines. You see a difference right away! Tone and lifted. Good bye cellulite! This is my new go to place and I plan on seeing her weekly. She has really good packages available with all her treatments. Wish I found her sooner.

Lisa is a hidden gem in LA. I’ve been looking for a good esthetician and Lisa is one of the best I’ve come across.
She works in her home right next to the Grove. Parking is easy and plentiful and Lisa is very friendly and easy to talk to.
The best part about Lisa is that you can tell that she really loves what she does and is extremely knowledgeable about all the latest developments. She had her own shop in a different state for 16 years before moving out here last year and her experience and passion for her work are evident in interacting with her. She asks you about your current skincare routine and makes recommendations based on your skin type. Her prices are very fair for the quality of service that you get. She doesn’t try to upsell anything and is just so friendly and easygoing. You can also communicate with her and make appointments via text which makes life easier. All my friends I saw over the next 48 hours kept commenting on how great my skin looked — when does that happen? When you have an excellent facialist, apparently.
Lisa is also proof of her own abilities — you won’t believe how old she is when she tells you. Her skin is flawless.
I’m so happy I’ve found a facialist I can stick with here in LA. Ladies — if you want a little R&R or think your skin needs some TLC, check Lisa out. You won’t regret it, especially with all these awesome deals she has going on (if I were a new customer, I’d snap up that Unilocal deal that’s available right now in a heartbeat).
She even gave me samples at the end of my session! She’s a total sweetheart who’s passionate and great at her craft. Doesn’t get much better than that.

Lisa is amazing… I’ve had a lot of facials in my life but she gave me one of the best facials I’ve ever had, and I left not only looking great but just in a better state of mind — feeling relaxed and pampered! I felt like I was in good hands. She knows her stuff — she’s a total professional, clearly has studied up on all the products and knows how to identify problem areas and how to treat them — but is also charming and lovely and gracious. I absolutely recommend her!

Wow. Was recommended to Lisa by a friend. I called her and immediately hit it off with her over the phone. She told me that she works at a spa or at her home. I decided for my first visit, I would venture to her home spa for a facial and ultrasound treatment.
Wow again. Lisa actually met me out front of her building and showed me in to her very comfortable spa room loaded with all the amenities. What impressed me the most was her warmth and confidence. She proceeded to give me the best facial that I’ve ever had (and I’ve been to a number of places in town) and this was even despite doing her conscientious work in a second bedroom. Really worked on some clogged pores. Then, knowing I needed an ultrasound treatment, spent quite a bit of time on that explaining to me right along about the different heads on the ultrasound, etc. I couldn’t help but feel she truly cares about her clients and knows exactly what to do.
She uses top notch products and has had exceptional experience having owned her own spa for many years in another state. I can’t recommend her highly enough for skin care treatment and fully intend to see her again for my skin care needs.

I went to Lisa for a facial and it was fantastic! Lisa is so sweet and you feel very relaxed during treatments. Her place is very clean, she is punctual with her start time and uses natural products. She loves what she does and has a great passion for helping people with their skin. You are in good hands with Lisa!

Bought the Groupon for a specialized facial, microdermabrasion, custom peel, called to make an appointment and was able to schedule some time the next day. Lisa was absolutely amazing!!! I expressed my concerns with my skin and what I wanted out of my facial. She knew exactly what to do. Right away she took great care of me from start to finish. It was my first time getting a peel and I absolutely loved it. My skin has seriously never felt so good. Will definitely be going back! I recommend Lisa to all of my friends. You get a great facial at a great price. Thanks again Lisa!

Have you ever had a facial? I hadn’t and after finally getting one a LIsa’s Belle De Jour I feel as if I’ve really been missing out on something wonderful all my life. I thought oh they charge you like $ 50 bucks for you to sit with mud on your face, which I can and do, do at home. However I’d never had someone pay such attention to every pore on my face. Who does the facials, well Lisa the owner of coarse. Talk about a personal touch. One of the most relaxing experiences I’ve had. If you don’t go here, you are seriously missing out on something.
