The salads here are so greasy. Try taking out a container to-go and eat it a few hours later. You will see a lot of oil(not dressing but straight up oil) pooling on the bottom. 3 stars for good concept. But most people get salad as a healthy option and the amount of oil defeats the purpose. Certain salads may be less greasy(i.e. Kale) Red quinoa in salad was undercooked and not enjoyable.

The only four star establishment on Unilocal in LAX, and probably deservedly so. I love their wide range of options, from the salads to the sandwiches to the cooked foods. I got 4 portions from their salads: the kale salad, curried cauliflower, chicken cole slaw, and tomato avocado. My favorite was the chicken cole slaw, and I was a bit turned off by the kale salad which was surprisingly spicy. If you’re not sure about what to get(as was the case with me), they even give you tiny samples of the salads so you can decide. Amazing service! The 4 portions turned out to be an ample amount of food for one person. It’s a bit pricy at around $ 12, but in the context of airport pricing, it’s pretty reasonable, especially considering it’s both healthy and delicious. I’d walk over to Terminal 5 to eat this again.

So far, I’ve tried lemonade at 4 different locations and numerous times. I don’t know why I think it’ll be different each time I go, but it is. Get ready to pay big bucks! Taste is subjective, and I personally don’t think anything tastes great here. I ordered meatballs for $ 8 and only got 3 meatballs! Those are some expensive meatballs! The sides are mediocre as well. I guess it’s the freshest place to eat at the airport though, but after those meatballs i still felt extra bloated and disgusting.

Best new local LA restaurant inside LAX. Right inside Terminal 5. One more reason to fly Delta! Yes, as always it’s expensive! And as always, the prices of airport food is ridiculously high(but for lemonade high end prices, it’s not bad at all)! It’s the heathy option across form Rock & Brews. But the food is amazing. And if you want some good tasting, healthy food, then make this your stop! It’s the first stop across from Gate 52 and 53.

LAX has been remodeling of the past year. I was super excited that Lemonade was part of the new expansion. Don’t let the name fool you. They serve much more than just lemonade drinks. The line starts similar like a cafeteria: You pick up a tray, pick your dishes, and pay at the end. However, the food they serve are unlike the traditional nasty cafeteria food. Lemonade serves a wide variety of healthy a la carte dishes with a reasonable price. They charge based on the type of portions ranging from 1 – 6 portions ranging from $ 3.25-$ 14.75. They offer pasta, pasta salads, veggie dishes, soups, protein stews, sandwiches, fish, tuna, wraps, chicken, dessert, etc. You can’t go wrong with any selections. Don’t forget to pick up a lemonade. I recommend taking a quick food to go so you can enjoy your meal on the plane. It beats any food that is available at LAX. It’s healthy, reasonably priced, and the food overall all is extremely delicious.

Had the Turkey Bacon Avocado sandwich while waiting for my flight. The TOGO container is a nice little clear plastic box. You get a small arugula salad with the sandwich as well. The sandwich is cold, but very tasty. The bread was super moist and the the spread the chipotle spread they used was fantastic. Great little sandwich. The downside was it was like $ 12.00! What do you expect in LAX!

Had a quick layover at LAX and desperately needed some food. I walked past Lemonade and realized one of my good friends who lives in LA had mentioned this restaurant to me on more than one occasion. Decided to give it a try. I really like the way this restaurant is laid out… assuming all locations are a similar set up. They make everything very simple. I love that you are able to choose the number or portions you want so it’s perfect if you just want a little snack or are starving your butt off(like I was). I went with 4 portions. I order the Orecchiette pesto pasta, avocado and tomatoes, brussels sprouts, and Israeli couscous. Absolutely delicious. I also ordered a guava lemonade — seemed necessary for obvious reasons. I was also pleasantly surprised with how affordable this place was. I believe it was $ 12 for 4 portions. Not terrible — plus it’s healthy! I would totally go back.

This is one of the better food options that I’ve seen in an American airport! I love the cafeteria style layout and the options are so fresh and delicious. It’s very vegetarian friendly, but there are meaty options like stew or soup too. I really enjoyed the snap pea salad and the cous cous with mushrooms. Prices are steep but that’s airport pricing for you. I also loved the guava lemonade! Couldn’t put it down.

A really great Lemonade. Especially for airport food when you can get reasonably fresh veggies that’s amazing. It’s located by Delta, and when I stopped here in the late afternoon it wasn’t very busy. It’s cafeteria style so you get a tray, order your food and pay at the end. I think they do need to make this process clearer for people coming to Lemonade for the first time because many were clearly Lemonade virgins and it held up the line for people trying to figure out where they can get what. The different stations admittedly are confusing. I had israeli couscous, the kale salad, and a sweet potato hash thing which crispy rice. The couscous is my favorite and a very reliable one, the sweet potato hash was really good too. The kale salad was good but kinda watery with the vinaigrette and something in it was incredibly spicy. I don’t know what the hell it was but enough for me to having to rotate bites of other stuff so the fire in my mouth would go down. Would’ve been nice to have a warning. Either way, there’s too little seating so you’ll most likely have to take your food out elsewhere which is my last gripe with this place. Either way for airport food, really good!

Food here is amazing, refreshing, and healthy! There are plenty of choices to choose from so be sure to walk through the whole bar before deciding and settling on something. The guava and blood orange lemonade is delicious. Ask for samples if you are unsure what to get. This is the airport so the prices is of course hella jacked up so dont be shocked.

Very decent place considering it is located at the airport. I must say the night crew during the red eye flights are very friendly. One may think it is 8am with their enthusiasm. Now back to the food– i ordered the vegetarian chili. Before I ordered I was encouraged to taste it. I was given a variety of chili– chicken and a number of braises– BBQ brisket and red miso short ribs(all items are beef) I did appreciate that little gesture of customer service of enabling me to taste, before squandering $ 4 to $ 9. I ordered the Vegeterian chili. It was pretty tasty. If I am back in this terminal 5 I will be back for more!

This was the only place open at 4:00 am in the morning at LAX therefore my breakfast options before catching a morning flight was few and far between. They had a lot of breakfast options that looked promising. I wanted to get a parfait but the guy who was supposed to put them together had his back against 3 people patiently waiting while he was fucking around having a social conversation. It’s a build you own parfait hence why he needed to put it together. As if waiting for Mr. Fuck around teenager to get his customer service shit together he messed up my parfait order. The salmon bagel was awful. The bagel was so tough that my jaws hurt after eating half. The side season potatoes that it came with tasted like rubber. Price was okay.

3.5 stars. A new choice at LAX. This is not your ordinary food spot at an airport! The way you select your food requires reading the many signs they have posted. Essentially, they are all about portion control. Everything is a portion of this or portion of that, whether that’s a scoop of salad or a cup/bowl of stew. You pay for more portions of course but the selections here are better quality than your ordinary airport restaurant and so is moderate overall. Value is OK but hardly great. I had three things, measured to the brim in various sized paper cups, their Braised Red Miso Short Ribs(meaty, tender, and delicious) and White Truffle Mac and Cheese(rich, creamy but more flour than cheese, and tasting off maybe the so called truffle oil was not fresh or something not very cheesy was in there) and finally a Shocktop beer for just over $ 20. If you looked at it on the plate, this trio seemed very spartan, the portions all tucked in their white paper measuring cups, but overall this was a lot of food and so I really was stuffed. It was enough to warrant a second look, the next time I’m in LAX.

I love lemonade since I am in part basic AF so I get really excited whenever I see this at LAX because it’s a good healthy option before you get on a crowded nasty flight. I think it’s pricier than the regular locations in LA and the quality might be a smidgen not as good but they have all the same food and lemonades. I’ve tried the breakfast egg sandwich, veggie fritatta as well as the normal sides and I enjoy it all :) There’s also ample seating space for you to chill and eat at!

This is exactly what I want every time I go to an airport. Same Lemonade food and lemonade. Especially nice with a dash of patron before the flight ;) Bf and I got the caprese panini, both good. Didn’t know they came with a little side salad so that was nice. I got the blood orange lemonade with patron. Perfect combination imho. Bf got cucumber mint lemonade with patron. He liked it a lot. K time to board!

Been here twice now, once for lunch and once for breakfast as part of a layover. Service has always been prompt and very helpful. Always seems like the healthiest choice as well when strolling through the terminal. Grabbed some steel cut oats, croissant, and a coffee. Hard to really mess up most of what I ordered, but everything felt fresh and did not feel like it had been sitting out for hours. I like that they gave me ample sides for the oatmeal, otherwise known as a mountain of brown sugar. Coffee was strong and very tasty, and the croissant was just right for a snack on the go to my next stop. As for the previous meal during a lunch period, I grabbed a salad and turkey sandwich. Both items were above average, but honestly anything above average at a large scale airport such as LAX is a win for me. Now one can always complain about prices at airports, but it is something that is prominent at all airports and something you can choose to avoid by planning ahead. Prices at lemonade are not too expensive, I believe I walked away with the breakfast above for just about $ 9.00. All and all I will continue to stop by on layovers for breakfast and lunch.

Probably one of the best airport meals I had, particularly since Lemonade provided me with enough food to survive 16 hours in the LAX waiting area. Nice mix of salad ingredients of every color and texture. Some were more successful than others, and everything is kept basic enough that you should just go by what ingredients you enjoy. Israeli couscous and beets were two that stood out for me. The lemonade itself is fine. A little sweeter than normal, but worth a try.

Frequent in LAX so I decided to finally stop in and grab a bite. Really healthy choices and good portion sizes not too big and not too small leaves you feeling full but not stuffed. Sandwich was really good not dry at all or soggy. ALEXIS the young lady at the front was amazing she is very friendly and even made a recommendation about the lemonade options they had available. Because of this I will certainly return on my next trip to LAX.

Who knew that Lemonade at the Airport can be just as good as it is at other locations. I just wish they offered items that didn’t have as much onions in them. The meats are always cut to perfection but should be available both in hot and cold, especially the seafood(salmon in my case) Of course when it comes to lemonade, it’s always made perfectly(especially the mint one) The number of healthy options are astounding(i don’t think there is anything that isn’t healthy. except maybe the mac and cheese, which is to die for) Highly recommend this place!!!

So this is one of the dining options in this terminal that has breakfast, lunch and dinner. One cool thing is that they have lots of lemonade flavors, which they will gladly spike with one of their spirits for you. Yes, even for breakfast(no judging please. it was an intl flight). There are several breakfast skillets to choose from, all featuring meat and/or veggies with or without cheese. I opted for the chorizo, salsa, egg skillet with a side of chicken sausage(fairly tasty and slightly spicy) and potatoes. The food was good and it was plenty to fill me up. My total including my lemonade came to $ 25, which isn’t shocking at an airport. I would definitely recommend this place for breakfast(because I didn’t see lunch) for anyone hungry with time to pass, especially before an international flight ;).

Recently stopped here before my flight back to Vegas and was pleasantly surprised. Typically most airport food is greasy and fried but this was a breath of fresh air. You make selections by portions of either salads, soups, meats or a few other different things. I went with the avocado cherry tomatoes salad and vegetable chili. The salad was very good and super fresh. They even let you try samples before choosing. The chili however was my favorite. It had just the right amount of spice and wasn’t bland at all. Very good place! Next time I’m in LAX I’ll be sure to stop by again.

Probably the healthiest place to eat at LAXT5. Definitely not inexpensive I had a meat, a veggie and ½ avocado with salmon stuffed inside and a sugar free mint lemonade and it was USD$ 25+ They lose a star for value and get four for their healthy choices. Portion size is not generous but it did the trick. If I wanted the best airport food I should have connected through SEA or PDX.

I’m a huge fan of the Lemonade restaurants(tried the LA branch and loved it), particularly for their deliciously crafted sides. They always use unique ingredients in their food, which makes me love it! When I came in to this particular branch before my flight back to San Francisco, I was quite disappointed because there were a few things I wanted to try that were not available at the time(for example, the curry chicken, and the roasted chicken). They also barely had options for protein(I only saw seared ahi tuna and salmon). The cashier also wasn’t very friendly– she looked hella bored and never smiled during our transaction. The portion was also really small when they put it in the box– $ 26 worth of food for 2 people, and we weren’t even full, lol. ALSO– it’s really hard to order because they don’t really have a menu– they only have dishes of food lined up parallel with the line so you cant really pick what you want unless it’s in front of you. It caused a lot of awkward line traffic when people went back and forth trying to look at the items first to add to their order.

It is just so nice that there are nicer restaurants at LAX that are not traditional fast food or convention-center-catering-quality establishments. During my recent visit to LAX, I steered everyone in my party to Lemonade. Apparently, I’m the only one who had eaten at Lemonade before. I gave everyone a quick tutorial on how ordering works, as it can be confusing if you’re a newbie. Essentially, you can have portions of the salad and add on land/sea portions. Each portion has a separate cost. I stuck with my usual curry cauliflower and arugula salads and and tried an order of Jamaican chicken braise. The salads were good. The chicken was a bit more sweet than spicy. I would’ve preferred that it was the other way around. I don’t remember what others in my party ordered other than the turkey sandwich, which I got a small bite of. It was really delicious. I’m not sure what the sauce/dressing was that they put in it, but it definitely added lots of flavor and body to just a normal sandwich. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Definitely not cheap, I was okay paying a bit more for quality food. Plus, you’re in the airport, where you’re a captive audience. Your other choices are McDonald’s and Burger King.

This is one of the newer dining options that was recently added to Terminal 5 at LAX, the Delta terminal. This terminal has had a recent overhaul and most of the dining and shopping vendors have changed. The location where Lemonade now stands used to be a California Pizza Kitchen. I had some time to kill and had not yet had lunch, so looked around the terminal for dining options. After checking most of the places out and finding prices everywhere were fairly similar, I decided to try Lemonade. I have never been to one of their locations outside the airport in Los Angeles so cannot compare the airport location to their other locations. As far as airport dining options go, Lemonade is a superior choice. It is a cafeteria style set up where you grab a tray and go down the counter and request whatever dishes you want. They have an extremely large selection of salads, and all looked very good, along with sandwiches and pastries. I had one portion of an avocado salad that had tomatoes and pine nuts in it. This salad was scrumptious. I had a turkey club sandwich along with the salad that was also very good. Prices here are similar to what I saw at the other dining establishments. I paid about $ 15 for my sandwich and salad and no drink. The food here is probably a healthier option than you will find at others in the terminal, and the large selection of excellent looking salads is a big plus. I could very easily have had three different salads and forgone the sandwich and have been just as happy. I was a little surprised that when I ordered the salad they took it out of a grab and go bag and just sliced it up for me. Ordering a sandwich from the counter isn’t any different from getting a grab and go sandwich, although they do offer to heat it up if you like.

I’m surprised that it opens so early, but really disappointed in their soba noodle! The description says that it comes with kimchi marinated vegetables, toasted peanuts, and sesame. And that’s exactly what you are getting. The veggies doesn’t even taste anything like kimchi or pickled at all. The noodle dish is not tasty at all, it actually needs some salt. I asked the cashier how it was before I ordered it and she told me that it was good, but it might be a little on a the spicy side. For me anything that has a good spice is good for me. However, there is no spice in here at all, not even the least bit amount of spice! I wish you could sample their dishes here like at other lemonades!

If you didn’t get a chance to visit the lemonade in Venice while you were in LA, then be sure to grab a bite here. If Los Angeles had a «style» of food(besides food trucks) then this would be it. Lemonade is LA’s «hipster» eating joint with their variety of vegan, gluten free, and vegetarian options. Don’t get me wrong their food is good but it’s not your typical American cafeteria style restaurant. For those who are up to try some new grinds, you’ll love the salad side selection. They will even let you sample before you order!!! My favorites are the chicken & green bean salad and the curried cauliflower. If you’re not as adventurous in the food department, then try one of their made to order sandwiches or braises. Their jerk chicken is really tasty(and has a spicy kick!) Sides are $ 3.25, sandwiches are 10.95, and braises are 8.25. Not too pricey, considering you are in an airport…

The line is confusing especially if it’s your first time. I ordered the red miso short rib and a side of basmati rice with a coconut apple lemonade. Short rib: needs a little more flavor, not enough pieces of short rib, but decent. Basmati rice: pretty decent Coconut apple lemonade: super good, highly recommend it. Altogether, the lemonade accents the flavor of the food so it tasted like a thai coconut curry, which is pretty lit. So it wasn’t so bad!!! If you’re looking for a place to eat at the Delta terminal, I’d check this place out.
