this was a stop on my & my co-workers tour on the east side«gold line» bar hop! the crowd is obviously much older but the bar tender was super amazing! She was tons of fun talking to and really knows how to make a killer michelada!!! The ambiance is very chill, old spanish music playing on the jukebox and just some two seating tables across the wall. I love this place — it gave you that«hole in the wall» random/hidden bar. Just a little FYI — This place only serves beer and sells fun munchie snacks behind the counter. I — including my coworkers loved it; this was the ONLY bar we went to that was fun and affordable also! Highly recommend for everyone to at least to stop by once!

If you want that«I’m keeping it real» experience, head to Las Palomas and hang out with an older crowd, sipping on Micheladas, Coronas, and Modelos. None of that craft beer business here. Just long-time Boyle Heights residents, chatting it up at their plastic-covered tables while enjoying the sounds of La Sonora Dinamita blasting from the jukebox. I came here after having a horrible day. Las Palomas isn’t for everyone, but sometimes it’s exactly what you need.
