LAPD Foothill Community Police Station

Recently I had my Public Storage unit broken into and went to this station to file a report.
The desk officer was polite and completed the incident report form in a timely fashion.
The interaction with this LAPD station officers was nothing but professional!

I work with the Foothill Division. I have read the reviews here. I want you all to know that none of that is acceptable. If in the future you encounter any of this, please contact your Community Relations Office. Currently the contact would be Ssgt Jesse Ojeda. 818−756−8866. This behavior is not acceptable any any police station, please go that next step. I work with Foothill and when I encounter something I go to my Senior Lead or to Ssgt Ojeda.
I am a CPAB member, and we work on the Prostitution/​Human Trafficking issues in Sun Valley and we have accomplished so much in the past few years…

I honestly would love to give no stars at all. They have bad customer service and they keep transferring you put you on hold and just don’t get the help you need.
I wanted to file a report for theft but the officer said it was useless. WTH! If the Police can’t help who will. God what kind of world is this?
Somebody in charge needs to fix this.

Because of false information given to me by a police officer working at Foothill Community Police Station, I ended up paying over $ 300 on towing fees for my found stolen car.
On Saturday the police officer told me that if I came in to the station on Monday and talked to the detective, they would wave our towing fees. I asked, «but won’t I be charged for the extra two days that I’ll be leaving the car at the towing company?» and he told me that I wouldn’t be paying anything because they’ll take car of it.
They did NOT take care of it. I ended up paying the original towing fee PLUS the cost for two extra days that my car was at the towing company. If I had known that this specific police officer was speaking out of his ass and didn’t know what he was talking about, then I would have picked up my car the first day that I was given the call. But instead I put my trust into a police officer who screwed me over.
Our tax money is paying you to do your jobs correctly and help the community, but instead you are causing even more problems.

This morning I wanted to report an incident involving someone going through the neighborhood trashcans. I called this office to report their license plate number multiple attempts at 3 different times in the morning, noon, and afternoon. A couple of times I was put on hold without anyone answering first then I gave up after 15min. Then several other times someone would pickup the phone then hang up.
This division is just useless and not at all surprising that they have such a poor rating. I hope someone in charge reads this.

Ahh the infamous foothill division… Such a charming history… On a serious note, from my observation with the patrol officers, I’d say that these guys are extremely professional and yet friendly and approachable at the same time. Their professionalism and fairness is a reflection of good leadership. Somebody up at company office is doing something right. GPD should take notes.

It takes 2 hours for them to respond to a call, and when they show up they simply give a warning and leave. My neighbors are very noisy & they party all the time. I can’t catch a break. Foothill Division not helpful at all.

I went to this place to get some information
, the officer at the counter who happened to be a lady was absolutely have no help to me., she kept saying to me was why didn’t I go report it sooner. she was of no help to me and I left there more discouraged when I. if you really don’t want to help the public go find another job.

This place is a complete and utter joke! If you have a situation to report you might as well go elsewhere because you will get ZERO help here. I came to this station a few weeks ago to report an incident involving harassment. The officers at this station were so annoyed at me for interrupting their gossip session. I guess the sugar rush had worn down, judging from the nearly empty pink donut box on the counter (not kidding!). Anyways, the cops at this station are a disgrace to law enforcement and would rather lollygag around the station cracking jokes and eating donuts rather than actually help citizens in need. What a shame this place is!!!

This place is a joke. We called and got put on hold. We got our property broken into and car vandalized and they wouldn’t make an appearance. they told us to call another place to get an incident number and that place doesn’t pick up. We are still on hold after waiting an hour
