If you want a tasty jewish sandwich on the pricey side then come here. I have no complaints about the food except the price. Thank goodness I had a groupon to defray the cost somewhat. I would’ve rated it higher than 3 stars had it not been for the difficulty of finding parking. Area street parking 2 hrs 8 – 6 M-Sat except no parking on Sun unless you have a permit. There is a very small but tight parking area in the rear of the building and there are parking meters on Pico if you can find a spot. Also, staff inside yells out numbers for orders but they do not give you one. Not sure if they’re trying to mimick a real New York jewish deli or what.

Label’s Deli is old school Jewish(Oy Vey) in every sense of the word and your transformed back in time literally and figuratively. Upon entering Label’s you get the feel the vibe the food the crowd the staff its a Seinfeld episode straight out of the borscht belt. 4.5 Stars The food is legit. The Pastrami is moist, flavorful and a pure Jewish celebration of the senses add in the cole slaw the Russian dressing and the freshly baked rye bread and it’s Hanukkah… The sandwiches, latkas, matzo ball soup and overall treasure trove of goodies are pure NY Jewish deli gold standard. By the time your done rubbing elbows with the collection of rabbi’s, yenta’s, grandparents and mahjong groups holding court in this iconic deli if your not already Jewish you will convert and have your adult B’nai Mitzvah after lunch… The prices are a bargain compared to the larger namesake big boy deli’s but this is a no frills old school deli with character, history, a great vibe and food to match. This Pico/Robertson landmark is the real deal and I feel nostalgic for the days gone by when I went to the deli with my Russian grandparents as a kid. Every neighborhood needs a Label’s Deli to call it’s own. It’s truly special and an experience not to be missed, with great sandwiches and assorted goodies.

Label’s is an institution in my family, we’ve been going there for years. It’s a no fluff kind of place, you’re not there for the ambiance you’re there for the pastrami. If you want to get it to go– order a loaf of sliced rye, a few lbs of pastrami and/or corned beef, some Russian dressing, Cole slaw, and pickles and Diy sandwiches at home! If eating there order a sky-high and go to beverlywood bakery right down the street after!

The hubby and I came here with a Groupon. I had a pastrami sandwich with rye bread and maza ball soup. The hubby had a roasted turkey sandwich and cole slaw. The rye bread was really good. Nice crust on the edge and soft on the inside. The pastrami was decent but I had better at canter’s and Brant’s. The maza ball soup was good but nothing too special. The parking was a bit difficult but we managed to find a space on the street. I probably would not make a special trip to eat here. Since canter’s is not far from here I would probably just go there.

My friend had them cater a brunch and the lox was the best I’ve had in LA, so I went to the deli to buy 1 pound. The miso soup is delicious too!

I’m so bummed, I was really hoping this would be my new go-to deli in my area… It’s not. I just came in to get a to-go bowl of chicken noodle soup and when I got home there was absolutely no chicken and 2 slices of carrots in my broth with noodles. I could easily compare this to a .99 cent can of Campbell’s chicken noodle and I paid $ 4.95. I’m disappointed with my experience here.

The very best… Reasonably priced pastrami sandwiches that are unparalleled. Great rye bread, pastrami, and pickles. Formica table tops that speak of ambience that transcends pseudo chic delis. Labels Table is a treasure.

Not impressed, too much money for a Reuben sandwich that cost $ 17, not in that area. Thought using groupon, but I won’t do it again. For those who love Rueben sandwiches should try Billy’s in Glendale, ca, they’re to die for

Been coming to this place for years, always love the pastrami sandwich, best in town. Today I tried the hot pickled tongue sandwich for the first time, it was simply one of the best things I ever ate. Love this place.

Located along Pico Blvd, a small parking lot in the back(we were fortunate to grab a spot on our visit, Labor Day Monday). My husband and I decided to grab a late lunch here after 2 pm(they close at 3 pm). After browsing the menu board, we ended up getting: Lox, Egg & Onions served on a water bagel, $ 3.75 prior to tax– What a cheap deal for a tasty lunch! I opted to have this bagel sandwich and had originally ordered this on the everything bagel but got the water bagel(plain bagel) instead, which was fine. I got the bagel toasted and liked this little egg, lox and onion patty that was inside and thought this sandwich was pretty filling. They used red onions(cooked) in this sandwich. Whole Hot Corn Beef Sandwich, $ 11.95 prior to tax– This whole sandwich(you can also order a half size) comes with a side order of your choice, my husband opted for the cole slaw. There was plenty of meat in this sandwich(automatically served cut in half). The sandwich tasted good, but was just average for the most part. My husband and I still think Langer’s foots the bill in the corn beef/pastrami world. The cole slaw was pretty good. Also this sandwich came with a pickle which we both liked(my bagel sandwich also came with one as well). Matzo Ball Soup, $ 5.50 prior to tax– I am sorry to say this, but I thought this matzo ball soup was just okay. I have definitely had better. — — — — — — - (Total= $ 23.11 after tax) Service was pretty friendly and our wait time for our food was not that long. The way it works here is that you order and pay for your food at the counter and then they will call out your order(so the guy who took our order called out the whole hot corn beef sandwich with matzo ball soup, etc). There are plenty of tables around. This is definitely a no frills kind of place(which is good to help keep prices down). There is also a unisex restroom towards the back entrance of this eatery(which surprisingly was clean upon this visit). Overall, pretty average(but still was good), but filling. Not sure I would come back here though, especially with all the many other competing deli style eateries on Pico Blvd.

I was in a mood to try something different, and my friend recommended to me I had by far. The sandwich was so good I bought a few extra sandwiches to bring home to my brother so we can share the same experience. If you are craving or in the mood for a good quality sandwich come to the spot.

A true and authentic delicatessen. An important landmark to the area(along with Factors). These are the types of establishments we must continue to support that represent the diverse cultures and family owned businesses of Los Angeles. On top of all of this, the food is always A+.

Seriously, I love the pastrami here. LOVE. I’ve eaten at plenty of those so called best delis in LA, but this pastrami is the best. The pastrami sandwich comes lovely on rye bread with mustard. It’s simple, filling, and delicious. But I’ll tell you a fun secret — if you want a bagel with egg + pastrami, it’s a steal(under $ 4) and you get some pastrami in your morning meal. Doesn’t get much better. Order at the counter, grab a seat, and wait for your number. Since I get an odd vibe inside, I do like to-go orders; but stay and people watch if you like. Parking is available on the street very easily — meters and residential areas if you want to walk further.

I am always a little disappointed with Label’s Deli. The problem is that Langer’s is a bit of a drive, considering I live fairly close to Label’s. It is one of the better delis on the side of town, however, since Canter’s and Jerry’s are just terrible. I always get the matzo ball soup, and I was disappointed last time. The matzo balls were ok, but the broth didn’t have much flavor and just tasted like water. It just didn’t taste like chicken soup. Maybe I have been spoiled by my grandma. Their pastrami is just ok as well. It’s not bad, but it’s not something you would crave. The place is a little dingy too and needs an update, but maybe that’s part of their charm.

I was looking forward to my brisket sandwich and selected this small deli based on reviews. However, when the counter man showed me the brisket he was slicing, my heart sank. Yet, as I was determined to get my fix of brisket, I still ordered my brisket sandwich. Not that it was bad, it wasn’t. It just wasn’t anything above average! The meat was very lean, a little dry, dark in color, and devoid of much flavor or taste. The rye bread WASEXCELLENT! I know… how the heck is rye bread rated that good. …Trust me on this, it really is. As others have said, double crusted and soft dough=great texture. My sandwich with a double order of Cole slaw and a diet coke was $ 17. There are other places in town that have to be better for my next brisket fix!

Our sandwiches were delicious! The bread was so incredibly fresh and spongy that it was impressive. I got the egg salad, which I really enjoyed. We also ordered latkes — which are huge. The picture at the cash register is deceiving. One latke is pretty big. They were good, not the best I’ve ever had. They are super crumbly, but they get the job done. We will for sure be returning!

Prices have JUMPED! This used to be a staple of the Jewish Deli’s but the prices didn’t inch, it climbed drastically. ½ Sandwich Matzo Ball Soup 2 Drinks & Chips — — — — — — - $ 19 That’s insane! I see people here sharing but I don’t think it’s worth it anymore. I give Label’s 2 – 3 years tops before it goes out of business.

This week I went with my friend to Label’s Table and got sandwiches. On the recommendation, I got the combo of Pastrami and Smoked Turkey sandwich on Rye bread. It comes with mayo, mustard, lettuce, tomato, and a pickle on the side. You stand in line to order, pay, then they call your name when your food is ready. It’s a no frills deli and serves some delicious sandwiches. For two Pastrami and Smoked Turkey combo sandwiches, it was $ 24.98, so it’s not cheap, but very big, filling sandwiches. I think next time, I’ll just get a half sandwich! My friends thought this was one of the better delis in the area. There is metered parking in the front on Pico and a small parking lot in the back. I’ll definitely be back! Xie Xie!

Labels in my opinion is one of the best Deli’s in town. I feel there is Nate’s and then there is Labels which is cheaper and easier to get to. It isn’t as nice but whatever. The food here is awesome. The food is VERY good. I normally order the lean corned beef on rye with kraut and mustard. YUM its the best. They also have good chicken liver and tuna salad. I don’t think you will be let down if you come here. It’s a true neighborhood gem. I will have to try the pastrami next time! There is parking on the street or in the back. Enjoy!
