CAPRESEWITHPROSCIUTTOPANINI: the bread is on point! Cheese and prosciutto are pretty good. Where the sandwich is lacking is in the skimpy tomatoes, basil and balsamic! 2 thicker cut tomatoes and another piece of basil, drizzled with an even distribution of balsamic would make this sandwich pop! I didn’t get my $ 10 worth in this sandwich, but these additions would make it perfect.

This place is horrible. How could you feed kids such garbage. My kids got sick. If you see this truck. Run

#3 Caprese Panini is bomb! It has mozzarella, tomatoes, basil, and balsamic vinaigrette. Slightly crispy on the outside and soft inside. Cook time is short. Highly recommend!

Best Veggie Burger I ever had! My friends had the BBQ Panini and the Chicken Pesto Wrap and they loved it too.

I don’t know where this truck usually is, but today I found it by the Warner Bros studios. I normally don’t search Unilocal for food trucks since their location varies and I can’t check in. I blindly went ahead and got the chicken pesto panini, and my boss got the chicken pesto salad. While waiting(the food took a little while), we were curious about the Unilocal ratings so I looked it up anyway. 2.5 stars!!! We were like«UGGHHHWHYDIDN’T WECHECKFIRST» and we were regretting not going to the other two trucks that had 4 stars. Then we get our food… and it looks pretty good! My boss really enjoyed his salad and made people jealous at the office. My panini was soft and melty inside and toasty on the outside, with lots of pesto. Maybe a tiny bit too much pesto. There’s no such thing as too much pesto though, right? I wish it had more tomato, and a little something else on the side. But anyway, this truck deserves more than 2.5 stars! It could be cheaper(or again, a little something on the side –not just lettuce– to make it more filling)… the flavor’s good though. I enjoyed this panini much better than the half cold ones at the Warner Bros café across the street…

Such a disappointment, I ordered the BLT and was so unhappy! For $ 10.00 this is what I got(see my picture) a wrap that was full of mixed greens and about 1 ½ — 2 pieces of bacon… Although it was tasty, it was not worth $ 10. I’m sorry but I won’t be patronizing this truck again!

I had the caprese panini with a side salad. This is one of the few food trucks that went beyond my expectations. The caprese was really good, with gooey cheese and just right toasty bread. The side salad was also fresh with balsamic vinaigrette dressing. The panini was even good hours later. Pleasantly surprised.

As far as paninis go the one I had was pretty good. I wanted a grilled chicken panini but since you have to order off the menu I asked for the pesto panini without the pesto since that was the closest thing to what I wanted. I don’t think it was worth the $ 10 but most fancy food trucks are overpriced.

La Panini Grill is a decent enough food truck, the pricing is on par with the rest of their peer gourmet on wheels fare. Expect to spend $ 10 – 15 on a meal. I had the Empanadas which was good, I had the Beef which were 3 for $ 10, not actually a bad price compared to other menu items they offered as well as what their peer food trucks charge. The bottled water was $ 2, which is a bit high, as a competitor next to ‘em had the same for $ 1, which I guess tells you in this fair competition democratic capitalist marketplace, always comparison shop by doing your own research before committing to buy. The drinks are amongst the highest profit margin items, I’m surprised that there’s not a lot of price wars amongst peers in the industry, who do business selling food to vie for the customer $. I visited the LAPANINIGRILL at the 2015 Battleship USS Iowa Memorial Day festival in San Pedro. The service was friendly, somewhat fast, given I believe everything was cooked to order. I’d have no objections to patronizing ‘em again either.

Worst service ever. Lost order then claimed that order was picked up awhile ago. We stood next to the pick up window the entire 30 min wait under the sun. I dont understand why you use ticket numbers if you dont even check the numbers.
