La Dolce Vita Hair Salon

What? 95 dollars for a regular mani and pedi on a pretty average looking place? Yeah, thank you, but no thank you.

I was staying at a nearby hotel and they recommended this salon which is in the lobby of the Marriott Hotel.
The lovely Norma fitted me in the same afternoon and did an amazing job of conditioning, softly layering and blow drying my long hair. Next time I visit L.A., I will book the Marriott just to be near the salon! Norma also recommended a product for me that has really improved the shine and condition of my hair.
Reasonably priced and very skilled, if you are anywhere near LAX, call Norma.

I was staying in the hotel and wanted to get my nails done, so I go in and ask how much for a full set with color tip, the woman said $ 65…“wow” was my response and «nevermind «. That is absolutely crazy. I ended up leaving the hotel and went to find an affordable nail salon, found one on La Brea — it was very affordable and the woman did a great job.

I was excited to learn there was a beauty salon in the hotel– especially with a nail salon as I was in bad need of a pedicure. I spoke with the girl in the salon about a pedicure and she said that she would have to check and would call me in my room in «a few minutes.» An hour later I called back and was told that she had placed a call in to the nail person but she hadn’t called back. She could have told me that in the first place instead of leading me to believe she would call back in a few minutes. I guess the girl never did call back because I didn’t hear back. The next morning I went down to the salon. It was open but there was no one in there! Lights were on but nobody was home. I waited for 5 minutes and absolutely no one in sight. They probably have cameras to protect from theft, but there were all manner of products out on display, so it made no sense to leave the door open with no one to mind the shop. The complete disregard for customer service should make anyone think twice about coming here.

I had a 5 hour layover at LAX so I took the free Marriott shuttle to and from the salon. Norma was great. In spite of having a badly sprained ankle, she endured so she could honor the appt I had made before I flew in. She washed my hair, gave me a wonderful haircut and blew it dry. My hair is quite long and thick so it took awhile. I looked fabulous to meet a fairly new man in my life. She also concealed some discoloration on my eye. When I sent my picture to friends, they were amazed with the transformation. When I returned to my home state a week later, quite a few people commented on how wonderful my new haircut looked. If I am ever in the area again, I would return to Norma. Thank you, Norma.

These ladies are awesome! I took my daughter (3 y.o.) to get her nails painted, and a manicure for me. I asked how much, was told the price, and decided to just get my daughters done.
They were so patient, had to fix my daughter’s nail 4 times because the nail polish wasn’t drying. Still great attitudes, and did not want her to leave with messy nails. Never raised the price, even though my daughter kept bumping them on the towel. They even put a cute flower and gem on her toes. What a great experience, thank you again! !!!

I love Dolce Vita! It is SO convenient to have an amazing hair stylist and nail salon under one roof! The employees pay attention to detail and do an amazing job. I just recently got a facial, blow out, and gels for a little date night (ladies, she has a great selection of colors) at a very reasonable price. Look no further for a great salon in the LAX area.

Nice lady did my nails done. I learned their price was out of question. Too much for doing 30 minutes for $ 45 to get my nails done. Not happy.

Located inside the Marriott Hotel, formerly the «International Hair Salon,» the newly renovated salon is modern and well equipped. Not only is «Dolce Vita» a full service Hair Salon, they offer facials, manicures, pedicures, makeup application, and styling products for sale.
Stop off at the Latitude Bar a few steps away, order a nice glass of wine, and place your hair in the adept hands of Norma. Still the only place I’ll ever get my hair cut, and still at very reasonable prices. Despite the renovation, you won’t pay a fortune to look like a million.
