I went here for a Brazilian and was so impressed with Mina. She’s amazing! I’ve been getting Brazilian waxes for years from fancy salons that charge a high price. Never again! Mina did such a great job, makes you feel super comfortable, and the process was quick and painless. And it was so affordable! It’s not a fancy place, but it’s great and easy. I highly recommend Mina. You won’t be disappointed.

I’ve been going to Mina for over 10 years. I moved to NY and still go to her whenever I’m in town. I have a weird eyebrow shape but she knows how to work them to perfection!

As a guy, I never was very comfortable with getting my back waxed. I never was sure where to go and I tried a lot of different places and was unsatisfied at each. Recently, I gave Mina a try and I am SO glad that I did. She works with the utmost professionalism and it was the least painful wax I have ever had. Not only that, but I was very comfortable throughout the experience, because she was super friendly and sweet.
With such reasonable prices and high quality service, I won’t have to keep trying new salons. As long as I’m in the area, I will definitely be a return customer!

Hair cut for men is $ 15. This sounds very cheap, however, for what you get, it was the most expensive one I have ever had. You can cut your own hair using utensils in a dark room without using your hands.

Mina is amazing! $ 25 for a Brazilian wax is definitely a really good deal, not to mention she does it really fast and thoroughly.

Came here for a Brazilian and eyebrow wax. Mina was very thorough with her job and managed to remove even the shortest of hairs with very minimal pain. She made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process.
Also, you can’t beat the amazing price for such professional service. The $ 25 spent on the Brazilian beat any other expensive wax I’ve ever had. I will be returning to her for all my waxing needs.

MINA is amazing at waxing! I’ve been going to a different waxing place (the one with two locations in Brentwood/​Culver City) for years, but went to Amina by chance one day because my friend referred me when I needed someone quick. I am so happy I found Mina, because I will never go to the other place again if I can help it.
Mina is super sweet and really knows what she is doing! She took the time to remove some ingrowns and was so gentle. The best part of everything in addition to the quality of service was that it was only $ 25, half the cost! I absolutely recommend her over any other waxing place I tried.

I went to mina and she was great. when I was back in college she was the first person that I had ever had a wax from and since then I never found anyone that could do as good of a job as she could. Because I’m getting married this Saturday, I knew I had to go on a hunt to find her and she was still in the same location. it was so nice to see her again she even recognized me from so long ago. I would recommend her to everyone… nice. fast… and to top it off 25.00 who can beat that.

3 stars for the haircut. I can cut and layer my own hair, but I wanted to find someone else in LA to cut my hair since my former hair stylist is back home. The cut was very generic-​looking which is fine. I didn’t want too many layers. It’s decently even but the layers aren’t very defined. I’ll probably do my own haircut «editting» at home. I was told by my sister that she liked how I cut my own hair before and this new haircut isn’t that great.
The place is a bit old but it’s clean enough.
Great price if you just want an affordable haircut and aren’t particular about the cut. Very fast cut! (though yes, fast probably isn’t a good thing).

I am been coming here to get waxed by Mina for over a year now (I can’t speak to the hair salon services).
Bottom line: You simply cannot beat the value. Best combination of price and quality of service you will find anywhere.
I have been getting my body waxed for almost a decade, so I have a lot of experiences at a lot of different establishments. I have never found any value as good as Mina’s. When I first saw the advertisements for a $ 25 Brazilian wax at the nothing-​fancy neighborhood hair salon, I was wary. I thought there was no way you could get a good, thorough result at that price. But a couple of girlfriends recommend it to me so decided to give it a try for my first Brazilian ever. I was 100% satisfied. Mina did a great job coaching me through it and made me feel very comfortable. I have been going back ever since!
Mina also really values customer loyalty and knows how to treat her regular clients. Sometimes when I come in to get something larger done, Mina will happily take care of an additional small area (like lower stomach) free of charge. The other day I came in to get my full legs done ($ 40!!! Can’t beat it!!) and she did my bikini line as well without even asking and free of charge! Once she even gave me a really nice 100% wool loofah because I had ingrown hairs! I wish this kind of client-​business relationship existed everywhere!
I am moving to Northern California in a couple months, and I am so sad I can’t take Mina with me. There is only one «Mina» and I know nothing else will compare! So make sure you always ask for Mina!
