This place is much better than that Fabulous donuts or whatever its called that makes animal faces on donuts. LA donuts are very standard but good, and they also make fresh squeezed juices (orange carrot is my favorite), and amazing croissant sandwiches where you can even add lettuce and tomatoes! Service is very friendly as well.

They have the most amazing hot chocolate… so good you’ll order that ish on a super hot day. Mmmm.
I only eat the custard chocolate covered donuts. Eh. Could be better but I’m not picky. I enjoy watching the old man waddle over to the donuts and drink machine.
They have a nice little sitting area with a fabulous view of the Olympic police station. Lovely.
$ 20 bills and smaller… open late :)

This place is good. I love ordering their Ham and Swiss croissant. Very Tasty! Also it’s right next to the laundromat where I go so it’s always good to grab a bite or even a boba. Sometimes they don’t understand and I also feel like these ppl like to rip ppl off on orders. They don’t tell you exactly what your total is and they don’t give receipts -.-

LA Donuts is very unique! They specialize in «roach» donuts! It’s a good thing we caught it right in the middle of ordering our donuts, because then, the poor girl behind the counter would have never been left so incredibly confused as she watched us run out the door! Thanks, LA Donuts!

Perusing the ice cream flavors in the freezer case I noticed they looked a little sad, like they had melted slightly and refroze. This should have been a clue to get out right then, but I figured a milkshake would be a safe choice. Boy was I wrong, it was the worst milkshake I’ve ever had. She made it with chocolate ice cream, milk and ice cubes. Who the hell puts ice cubes in a milkshake?!?

The 24 hour donut shop I usually go to is by my apt in manhattan beach so its safe to say I was thrown off by the locked door at this place. Given the location and surrounding sketchy individuals I immediately understood. I’m pretty picky so I was almost ready to leave when I relized I couldnt scrutinize each donut until laying my eyes on the perfect one. The lady working there was really nice. She pulled out the trays so I could see the donuts. Even though it was from afar, I could tell by the plumpness of the lone apple fritter it would meet my nearly insatiable standards. Oh and did it suffice! I ate most of it on my way back to work but was able to quit being a savage momentarily (or at least enough to save a nice portion to warm in the microwave). And boy am I happy I saved that piece! I let that bad boy sit in the microwave for about 16 seconds and it was perfect. Now I’m sad I dont have anymore, though I def dont need another donut at 2am.

This review is only for the vegetarian croissant sandwich, as I’m only reviewing veggie sandwiches from donut shops at this time.
Croissant was warmed to perfection, and the vegetable fillings were lightly flavored with mayo, and not soggy. Delicate and subtle. Much better than the big chain sandwich shop. Also, though it was a buttery croissant, it was, overall, a pretty light sandwich. Do not get mustard on it.

I was walking around Koreatown in the morning and needed something to hold me till lunch, I stopped by LA Donuts and picked up an Apple Fritter. It was good and kept me going till it was lunch time. Friendly service!
