I bet you don’t see orange or green elephants in front of your pharmacy. I must confess that seeing the Sato-chan elephant mascots for the Sato Pharmaceutical Company that greets me at the Kyodo Drug pharmacy makes me feel reassured about what ails me when I fill my prescription from Dr. Kawarantani. Unilocal review for Dr. Kawarantani: ) I usually don’t have to wait too long for my prescription as I wait with usually Japanese American customers. The staff is biligual in English and Japanese. I thought that the senior pharmacist was Latino, but I recently noticed the sign with his name(Japanese surname) AND his niece just emailed/corrected me.(Thanks Lina O)!. But she did say she jokingly calls him«vato» Kyodo Drug is housed in the Pacfic Asia Bank Building next to a Buddhist temple. Another good sign – the temple – I mean, right?
