Sifu Raffi, knows his stuff! He is a student of the craft. After years of being away from the arts (due to graduate school), I came back to study with Sifu Raffi. He was my instructor during my early twenties and he taught me a lot and helped me improved my technique. I had no doubts about studying with him again, now that I’m in my thirties. He is a patience, kind, and good teacher. He truly knows his stuff and will be there to guide you. What I also love about studying with him is we actually focus on survival combat. That’s really important in todays world. You can’t go wrong, I suggest come check out a class and see how you like it.

I’ve known Raffi for a few years now, and recognize him as the ideal instructor. He’s very patient, knowledgeable, skilled and is an excellent high level instructor of several martial arts.
I even left my normal place of instruction to travel outside of my area to train with Raffi, because it was a clear cut that he had all the qualities of a great instructor.
Kuno Silat is a fascinating and very effective martial art that I never knew much about. Having taken instruction on Silat, I can see that it is an art that is very much worth the effort of taking the time to learn. It teaches you to fight in a language that no other martial art speaks.

Kuno Silat is a great and technical martial art. There is a lot to learn, Raffi and his guys are great at teaching it. If you are looking for a decent work out and an amazing time learning new skills this is the class for you.
