Tried it tonight in front of Pocock Brewery, The dish tacos with the side salad of chopped veggies was exactly what I was craving. 4 stars became I felt it could have had a little more fish. It was mostly veggies which was still tasty. I would definitely try them again.

This was probably one of the worst food trucks I’ve had in a while and makes me understand why my friend has a «no food truck» policy. After waiting over 20 minutes for my chicken curry bowl(I think they forgot my order), I got back to my office to eat it and there were literally three tiny pieces of chicken in it. I was hungry so I went back down and asked to add a little more chicken. They added a ton extra so things were looking up… that is until I actually tried it. Has decent spice but no other(good) flavor to it and some pieces were pure fat or grizzle, even the rice was bad. I really don’t get how chicken curry can be bland(or how this place has 4.5 stars!!). The remaining three quarters are going straight to the trash. Avoid and thank me later.

I got there spicy chicken curry combo, came with fries and coke. I also got one chicken taco. 1.) Spicy Chicken Curry — Wrapped in lavash and kohler, inside the wrap included green peppers, cucumber and celery. The portion was a lot so I ate from the top enough to then finished it off with the lavash and lettuce. The wrap is an interesting combo and tasted really good! I enjoyed the taste of the chicken curry, but it wasn’t spicy enough for me.(Maybe my tolerance for spices have increased) 2.) Fries — seasoned right, but little bit under cooked for me, I prefer more crispy. 3.) Chicken Taco — interesting mix with grilled onion, not sure what sauce was on it, but it tasted good. The lady was inside doing the cooking and a guy was outside doing the serving. Overall excellent service and food.

Not only is their food amazing, but they treat their customers like family! I first met them when I hired them for a house party last year. I have used them for various events and everyone is always happy! They have now become friends of mine and all of Los Angeles should find them and try them out. For local businesses it’s hard enough to stay in business… let alone having a Food Truck. These two care about their longevity by caring about their customers! Positive Unilocal reviews make such a difference for our local LA businesses. :-)

I tried this truck over a year ago since that I’ve been going to a lot of there events. They are nice people that make great food. My favorites are mostly everything but I recommend, Steak Mac, quesadilla, loaded fries and more! Amazing TRYITASAP!

Ran out of all their food except chicken nuggets and bacon dogs. Lack of preparation?

I thought the macaroni and Beef Cone tasted great overall, but my only problem with it was the collard green. If I’m gonna eat something not so healthy, I’d rather have it wrapped all in a lavash, rather than get the bitterness of the leaf. I wish they had whole wheat lavash option available instead. That would have just hit the spot. The crew members were really nice and worked very fast. I waited 6 minutes to get my food, so I was very happy about that. I do hope they come back, because the meat quality was great and I’d like to try their tacos.

Concept in theory sounds really good and out of the box, but the experience was the opposite. Ordered the steak mac and cheese… it was pretty bland and came in a cone cup. The inside of the cone was layered in a tortilla. I don’t know how they expected me to eat the tortilla as the cone itself is not edible. Sooo… I only ate the steak mac and cheese and had to throw away the tortilla as there was no way to eat without getting food all over myself.

Awesome concept, awesome food… but we we’re hungry like 1.5 hours later. Got the Sriracha shrimp cucumber concoction… or should I say KONE-coction?! Ugh, me and my bad puns.

The food was ok; the cone and veggie had no flavor so you have to eat them together. Nice quality meats, not too many veggies but I don’t see myself craving it or really wanting to go back. They also charge $ 2/water and $ 3/soda. Anyone that feels the need to gauge customers on the little things probably won’t be be invited to my events in the future.

Terrific concept, terrible execution. The bread(cone part) was bland and tasteless and that’s what should be the good part since their truck’s name is KONEstruction! Food isn’t hot, the Mac and cheese was lukewarm mixed in with this apparent beef that felt like I was eating all the fat. I would have been ok if I didn’t expect more from this truck… But when you pay $ 10 for it… And you get this quality, you feel hipped. And I had a mad tummy ache in return. I’m one of many though and this place seems to get rave reviews so maybe it was just an off day. But I personally won’t be back. I’d rather hit up McDonald’s!

I was once firmly against food trucks because I thought the idea of people gathering in specific area of a city(mainly Granada hills every Friday) to walk around and buy food off a truck was stupid. I actually still think it’s stupid, and until yesterday i felt that the only food a person should buy from a truck was ice cream. But Konestruction has changed my mind. On a random Wednesday night they were parked in front of the Brickyard Pub in North Hollywood. My friend came inside the bar with a steak Mac & cheese cone & gave me a taste. Instead of going up the street to dominos or Panda Express like I usually do I decided to give a food truck a chance. I got the loaded fries with steak & it was fan fricking tastic. The touch of garlic on the fries, the two different cheeses, & the steak was just wonderful. It was so good I went back for seconds. If i see this truck around town again in going back for thirds.

Great concept, variety of different types of food. I can’t say much about this place as I only had it once. I found them in Granada Hills for Food Truck Friday. The brother/sister duo were really friendly and really nice. I ended up ordering the chicken curry kone, it wasn’t that bad however I wouldn’t get it again. Me being Indian I know curry and after a while the chicken left a bitter taste in my mouth. I loved how they wrapped the food in an actual cone and you can just eat it like a burrito. The fries that came with the kone were freaken delicious, all in all a pretty cool truck, looking forward to trying something else on the menu next time.

So tonight they were outside of Tiki no and the owners recognized me and offered to bring me a new curry chicken fries. They were very tasty and light as the fries contained chicken spinach a little cheese some almonds and curry it was all fresh and tasty. I really like this truck because of the customer service and the personability of the owners they are kind and generous people that will give you a sample that is a full portion just so you can give them feedback… very nice people!

Seriously, when I kept reading about the unbelievable customer service, I knew they’d be nice and courteous – but never expected to meet SUCH nice, incredibly friendly, down-to-earth people serving freakin’ ridiculously delicious food. Really wanted to try the popular short-ribs Mac-n-cheese, but they were sold out(owner said it was the first time it happened though, when I asked how early we’d have to get there next time. Loaded fries – really crispy, delicious fries topped with a generous amount of fresh chopped veggies, crumbled cheese(real cheese, not fully melted), & perfectly sized chopped short ribs. I think the key is, they chop up all toppings so that all the flavors & textures come together proportionately and delectably in your mouth, so that not one overpowers the others. Normally, I’m not so into fries – not worth my calories or sodium – but these definitely were. Loaded quesadilla– very large, veggies, cheese, short ribs, & just a few crispy fries inside. Very fresh tasting, not simply the typical greasy, super-melted-cheesy quesadillas you usually get. Wings– The owner was sweet and generous enough to make me a «sample» of their wings. Her«sample» was more than half a paid portion would be – I asked for a bite-sized taste and they made me 4 drummettes! She made it in a teriyaki orange glaze, and garnished it beautifully with shaved almonds. Really?! It’s not just how crispy and scrumptious the wings were that impressed me, but rather that the owners were so into pleasing customers and were so confident in their food bringing repeat customers, that they were not stingy in any which way. I will def return, not only to try the famous short-ribs Mac-n-cheese, but to try the hot wings, as well as the garlic wings. Even if all those are sold out – the items I tried today were good enough to bring me back – especially because of the best customer service I’ve EVER received in all my years of being a foodie in New York City and LA, combined. I wish the owners much success.

What a surprise. Didn’t know what to make of the name of this truck and it was dead when I happened to walk up to it. Very glad I stopped. Great people selling delicious, honest food. Exactly what you want from a food truck. Ordered their signature dish, the Short Rib Mac & Cheese Kone(the Kones are like a thin pita/grille tortilla). Wonderfully homey dish. Remember that era when hamburger helper came out and people started throwing whatever protein they could find on top of macaroni noodles? This dish is like if someone was challenged to make that idea awesome. The star is the short rib. Really flavorful with enough fat to be succulent, but not fatty. Really well done. The mac is good, but not so good I’d order it by itself. Whereas I want them to throw those short ribs on top of everything I might ever order from there. Still, the combination is nostalgic and comforting. Along with the Kone comes fries. I didn’t want the fries. My waistline tells me every day I need to stop eating fries. But they came with it and I tried them. OMG. Best fries I’ve had in forever. Maybe the best fries I’ve ever had period. So damn good. Thin, crisp, fluffy on the inside, with the perfect amount of salt. I wish these guys would be put in charge of nation-wide fry training. I’ll be back.

This is the GO-TO spot when your craving a meal that tastes delicious and isnt going to make you feel like crap afterwards! I got a short rib mac n cheese kone which is amazing with its cheesy macaroni with the juicy shortrib all wrapped in a kone! On the side I got some loaded fries which were amazing! Fries cooked to a light crisp topped with all the goodies and some more meat! Make sure you try the wings and the burger as well! Definetely recommend to try this place out!

I just tried the hot wings and I’m burning as I write this review. As a spicy food lover, I understand the difference between delicious and unbearable. These wings were absolutely fantastic and delicious!!! I had a side of the durrty fries… AWESOME!!! I tried the Steak Mac cone the first time I ate here, and I’m upset that I have no room today to fit both. Keep on making the delicious dishes you guys!!! A++++++

O M G I couldn’t believe their food would actually taste better than their customer service was. I found them outside of the Fox and hound on Ventura Boulevard in Studio City. After a night of celebration and lots of drinking I’ve got to tell you everything was delicious. If you haven’t experienced this food truck hunt them down and find them it’s worth the journey
