Just Extensions

I come here once every week or two to have my extensions blown out and styled. Everyone is really knowledgable at doing all types of hair. My hair always comes out looking great!

Yvette is sooo talented! She made my hair look like I walked out of a fairy tale! Just Extentions has a fantastic ambience. I will never go any where else for hair extensions.

«Just Extensions» were able to book me right away as a Walk-​in! I love the atmosphere and professional staff, so if you’re in LA, give them a call!

Ask for Lea! She is the weave goddess! I would drive 2 hours if she ever leaves me :(lol The girl can lay some tracks! Very clean and professional shop. Of all the places in LA, this is the best and their prices are fair.

I love my hair from Just Extensions! I did a lot of research and didn’t want to buy online. I tried other brands but I have found that this hair is the best. It hasn’t shed at all. I love the feel of the hair and I can always brush my hands through it. I will be going back when I need to replenish.

Incompetent and unprofessional management
(1) No one who answers the phone or sits at the front desk can figure out how to schedule an appointment
(2) They raise prices without telling customers
(3) They constantly change the hours of the salon
(4) They blame each other when there are scheduling errors and do nothing to fix the issue
Not only does it take 10 minutes to explain to someone at «Just Extensions» you want to make an appointment for extensions… they can’t even keep their appointments straight. I made an appointment this week, arrived on time and was told they were closing the salon because they stopped taking clients 30 minutes ago and my appointment was made in error. They didn’t even offer to provide the service since the mistake was 100% theirs. Then they tried to claim they left me a message, but no one ever called and they couldn’t get their story straight so it was clearly a lie. Then the manager said «well I wasn’t working the day you made your appointment so it’s not my fault.» As if a childish excuse like blaming your co-​workers is going to change the fact they were turning me away when I had an appointment because they wanted to go home.
Also, they raise prices without telling customers. A couple months ago they informed me after my hair was finished that the same service I had been receiving for a year was now $ 50 more.

My first set of extensions I went to Just Extensions. After 4 weeks, an entire row of beads fell out while in the shower. That’s it — just my regular morning shower and beads hit the floor. What a waste of $ 500.

I love this place. I went in without an appointment, and they were soooo accommodating. Queen did my install in record time. 3 hours for a full install with a closure. She did an amazing job. I love coming here they always do a really nice job. I’ve gotten my hair extensions by 3 differed people today I got it done with Leah she’s really friendly and was quick two important things!!! Also they are great at scheduling I never have to wait. Pricing is very good as well.

I luv this place. Very professional, excellent service. I walked in and was given same day appointment. Great quality of work. Joy is amazing, she was very knowledgeable with technique of application.

I’ve been here probably a total of ten times so far. Stylists Joy and Daeja (sp?) are both very good at braiding and sewing in. Their partial weaves always last me at least two months without any tracks coming loose. I’ve never had to take a weave out because it was looking bad, I’m astounded by how long their installs stay looking tight and neat.

I went to Just Extensions to get a braided sew in.
I loved it! It was fantastic and an enjoyable first experience at this salon.
I’ve gone several times to have my hair washed and tightened and even after 10 weeks, the sew in was holding up!
Definitely will be going back to them in the future. Love how easy it was to make an appointment and how friendly everyone is.

I have been here twice now, first time I received the beaded sew in application, and second I chose to get a full weave.
Both times were great! However I didn’t like the beaded sew in technique on me as much, only because my natural is too thick and unmanageable it was hard to blend with the hair extensions (but it’s fast and easy to install!)So when I came back again I opted for a full sew in! I absolutely loved it!
Stan is great, he made my hair look fierce I’d definitely recommend seeing him!
The salon itself is clean and classy, in a nice location. You can park next door at the restaurant for 5 dollars because street parking can be a night mare.
Overall, I highly recommend this place. Everyone is friendly and very knowledgeable, they know what they are doing. I’ll be going back for a third time sometime this month for another weave!
They are really great about fitting you in, and I have always been seen promptly as soon as I arrived.
Overall, I’d give it five stars because it’s hard to find a nice and reliable place to get a weave in LA without it costing a fortune and a half!

I’ve avoided weaves due to horrible experiences on the East Coast. But a coworker recommended Just Extensions and I’m glad I took her advice. I love my extensions! The woman who added it was wonderful (I forget her name, she was so sweet, professional and quick. Tiny Latin America lady-​Janet, Ines? Jinez? Sorry!).
Bought the hair from the salon, which I totally recommend. Never has a full head of extensions felt so light and natural!
My only complaint– I tried to curl some of the front the other day and now I can’t figure out how to get the tracks back to wavy. I’ve tried to add cold water, but no luck.
If the owner reads this, It would be great if you add a «how to care for your Just Extensions, extensions» section in the site. It it’s there– sorry, I must have skipped it.
Also, apparently there’s a loyalty program? I wasn’t offered this but heard of it as I left. I hope I can apply my past purchase to the program.

Sigh. I really wanted to like this place.
Everything seemed so perfect. The prices, the extremely close proximity to my house, etc. But if its too good to be true, it usually is.
When I made my appt. I was told that one of the «premium stylists» or whatever they called them, would be doing my hair, and I was very pleased to hear that. I had the appt. booked for Friday evening, but on Thursday, the salon calls and tells me that I won’t be able to come in until Saturday, because the stylist had a personal issue. –_​_​–
Fine. I come at the crack of dawn on Saturday and the stylist is late. –_​_​– Fine again.
She braided my hair extremely fast and did a great job making my weave look faboulous (I got a traditional sew in weave with a little of my hair out at the top). But she tightend the weave so damn tight, I had a headache for whole week straght! (No exaggeration)
Then on top of that, I noticed two huge blad spots where my edges used to be. I have thick, wolf-​like edges and they have NEVER fallen out. I am alos an avid weave wearer and never had any problems with my hair coming out.
But wait! It’s not over!
I came BACK to have my weave taken down, and yet again, there were issues. The girl clearly never set FOOT inside a cosmetology school in her life. I was giving the poor girl a lesson about the science of hair while she was ripping my hair out my scalp. «Ohhhhh, really? I didn’t know that?» –_​_​_​– I could tell that girl was not a professional and I am sure she did not have a license.
If you want your weave to pop, definitely come here. They do a great job making your hair look amazing, but at the cost of your REAL hair. I also noticed that there are multiple reviews in which Unilocalers are claiming their hair has fallen out from the aggressive installation of the weave. I would proceed with caution when coming here.

I’ve been going to JE for about a year and a half and I always leave satisfied. What keeps me coming back is that I ALWAYS get my monies worth! I went in for a full install on July 26 at 5, left around 7:45. Even though I had changed my appointment twice in two weeks, they were more than friendly/​considerate of my schedule.
My stylist Tanika was amazing! Beauty is the best way to describe her because she has such a pleasant spirit and personality. She did an amazing job on the installation and provided exceptional service. Tanika even stayed past closing hours to ensure that my hair was done to my satisfaction. When I left her chair, she undoubtedly passed on the beauty and made me feel confident and like a completely different person. I couldn’t be happier.
I had another girl (name starts with an «I») braid my hair and she also did an amazing job. I have extremely thick hair and since you have to come in with your hair washed and blow dried… let’s just say I try to do my best with my coils but can never get the bulkiness/​weight out of my hair. «I» took the extra step to let me know she needed to re-​wet/​blow dry my hair so that she could braid. She was attentive always making sure that she was not applying to much tension to my hair.
Overall another great experience. I wouldn’t consider going anywhere else in LA. You’re getting a full install for a great price where I’ve seen competitors charge up to $ 50 extra for the same service. Riqua (the owner) and her team are professionals and continue to provide exceptional service.

This is a long over due review. I’ve had the pleasure of sitting in the chair of a few of the very talented artist at Just Extensions.
This is an extension bar. This is not an average beauty shop. You are in and out in under two hours on average, you’re never there long enough for shop gossip luv that. The ladies work as team to meet your extension needs to get you out the door happy and flawless ASAP.
I lean on the staff at just extensions whenever I’m feeling a little Rapunzel.
Make sure to bring an image of the style you have in mind and the ladies will do whatever they can to achieve your needs.
BTW the hair sold on site is of good quality I’ve bought 3bundles of Brazilian wavy of which I was pleased. I’ve recently purchased a closure that I can’t complain about.
I have had extensions and have had installs at all price points thousands, hundreds, and store brands. I’m very satisfied with the extensions and technicians at Just Extensions.
*Just pretty by LeChelle was accomplished by using 3bundles of hair purchased on site hair was reused for clipins and I’m still using them a year later.
